I bought one of these on a whim as I have a bird feeder in my window that 2 of my cats love. I bought this toy to help entertain them when real birds don't come visit. These hold a charge for a decent time and I only find myself recharging them 1 every 2 weeks. I keep saying them because after I watched all of my cats go crazy for these things I actually bought more :) They have a small pouch of catnip in with the motor than can be replaced with any catnip (tea bag). It's an affordable cat toy that comes with batteries and is touch activated but only if it's not touched gently. I like that when it isn't played with for a lil bit it'll shut off til she (my cat) starts playing with it again. I like when toys aren't being noisy at 3am.

4 month old kittens took to this toy very quickly. It kept their attention until the battery died a couple of hours later (I just received it, so I haven't given ot a full charge, yet). It entertained them, as well as us watching them act silly. It also appears to be very durable and safe. They chewed and clawed at it with every foot and it's still completely intact. I loved reading the reviews and I was so excited to try this out. It's actually bigger and heavier than I thought. My cat is young and loves to play...and she will sit by the window begging to catch a bird. She was very interested but was afraid at first. She played with it and realized she needed to pick it up and drop it or kicked to make it start chirping. After the first day, she hasn't looked at it again. The video shows a very playful kitty like mine, and it looked like it could do more than just flap its wings and chirp. That is what I was interested in. Pros: Cats Love It: My cats are obsessed with this toy! They can’t leave it alone, even when it’s charging. It’s perfect for keeping them stimulated and engaged. Helped with Aggression: One of my cats used to get aggressive when we couldn’t play with him, but this toy has really helped. My cat got this toy for Christmas last year and he still plays with it multiple times a week. We put his toys away and then will watch him pull everything out just to drag this into the middle of the room. Depending on how much he's using it, we charge it a couple times a month. If we don't take it off the charger fast enough, he'll try to pull it off himself! It still looks great! (minus a few missing tail feathers because he pulls and chews on them...)
