The media could not be loaded. Not only does my 4 month old cat, Squirt, absolutely LOVE this toy(he's been stalking/playing with it since we received it and i turned it on)... but the humans in the house love it also. One of the BEST things is the sound level. It's loud enough to hear, but not deafening or so loud that it drives you nuts after 10 minutes of it being on. It stays in the background, instead of constantly yelling at you, and reminding you that its there chirping... You can easily have a conversation or watch TV while the cat is in the background playing and hunting his/her heart out, and not have to actively block out the chirping coming from the toy so you don't go mad. 🙃 Something else that we love is that it is rechargeable, and comes with a charging cord(you need to have a 5V charging block already, as it doesn't come with one, but that was no problem for us.. just a regular phone charging block works perfectly fine) We also like that it doesn't constantly chirp. The cat has to actively be playing with it in order for it to continue chirping. And even if the cat is actively playing with it, it will not chirp constantly. It takes little 15-30 second breaks after a few chirps. From what I can tell so far, there is no method to the chirping. Which is good. Bc I've found, with my cat atleast, if there's a pattern/repetition to a toy, he'll lose interest a lot sooner and opposed to it randomly going off. I thought the bird was kinda big at first, but my 4 month old cat proved me wrong. He bats it around like Ragnar Lothbrok, and teaches it who's boss all the time. He has no problem picking it up in his mouth either. The fabric it's made of is soft and fuzzy, but doesn't leave fluff balls anywhere. So I feel like that is good bc you don't have to worry about your cat eating any fabric and getting blocked up/impacted. The only thing I will mention that I THINK could be a problem in the future, is the little feet, and the feathers on the birds bum. My cat is an absolute viking. Yes, even at 4 months old. He is such a little destructor. Already, I've noticed he's taken a fancy to biting and chewing on the legs as well as the feathers. I imagine overtime they will wear out and I might end up having to use scissors to take off any parts that become a potential issue. Again, the only 2 things I believe could create a problem like this are the feet and the feathers. But it hasn't caused any issues in the hour since it's been home yet lol. I will update this review if anything changes. Overall, I'm thrilled all around with this purchase. This cat has been giving us a run for our money, and it's hard to keep him entertained 24/7. This toy has helped tremendously since its been here, and we will keep it in rotation with all the other toys we've got for him. If need be, in the future I will definitely purchase the bird duo if this guy ever dies on us. Much appreciation from 2 kitten parents that are lacking sleep, and the time to do anything other than keep a kitten entertained😅 ... show more

The Potaroma Flapping Bird has been a big hit with my cats! It’s great for keeping them active and entertained, and they absolutely love chasing and batting at it. Pros: Cats Love It: My cats are obsessed with this toy! They can’t leave it alone, even when it’s charging. It’s perfect for keeping them stimulated and engaged. Helped with Aggression: One of my cats used to get aggressive when we couldn’t play with him, but this toy has really helped. It keeps him entertained and calm when we’re busy or unable to interact with him. Fast Charging: The toy charges quickly, though sometimes my cats don’t give it enough time to fully charge because they’re too excited to play with it again. Lifelike Chirping and Flapping: The sound and motion are really convincing, which makes the cats even more intrigued and playful. Cons: Catnip Quality: The included catnip isn’t the best, so I replaced it with my own, and now my cats love it even more. My cats love this! I have a cat that doesn’t love a lot of toys. He’s just so uninterested in a lot of things and this toy he was immediately taken to. I think it’s great for cat’s hunting instincts. I’ll note that this flaps and chirps but if you want a toy you can attach to one of those toys with a pole. We have one with a hook that we can attach different toys to like feathers or mouse attachments and I could hook the bird to it. It’s great because my cats absolutely love to chase things in the air lol. 10/10 would recommend this! ... show more

It’s a neat and durable toy that holds a charge for a very long time but the one I received does not have 3 different flapping speeds/modes, only one. With that being said it’s still a good toy but unfortunately my cat lost interest pretty quickly.

I don't know how Jeff keeps losing his toys, but somehow he does. He'll have a hard time stashing this fella, though. he's big. About the size of a softball. The chirping it does is a little annoying, but he keeps the cat entertained for hours, so that's hours he's not running around, getting into things he shouldn't be. All in all a win. This is adorable, not irritating, recharges fast, but a charge lasts several day,depends how much cat plays, it is motion activated, so cat has to bat at it to turn on, but is not to loud. I bought one of these on a whim as I have a bird feeder in my window that 2 of my cats love. I bought this toy to help entertain them when real birds don't come visit. These hold a charge for a decent time and I only find myself recharging them 1 every 2 weeks. I keep saying them because after I watched all of my cats go crazy for these things I actually bought more :) They have a small pouch of catnip in with the motor than can be replaced with any catnip (tea bag). We have two cats, one of which loves this bird and the other one was scared of it. I had to turn it off after a while as the constant noises from our cat playing with it got a little annoying after awhile. The batter seems to last and although one of the tail feather pulled out almost immediately, it seems to be surviving the battering and slobbering from our one cat that loves it. ... show more
