    • Love my new "helper"
I purchased this Tesvor Robot in mid-November (it is now almost Feb) and have used this vacuum daily since I got it. I wanted to wait and write a review after I used it a few months so I could give an honest review. First, I did research before getting this one. I wanted one low enough to fit under beds, couches and my heavy dining room furniture (hutch and buffet) where my regular vacuum had trouble reaching easily. This vacuum fits everywhere I needed it to. Very pleased with where it goes and how much dirt it picks up daily (how does one household make that much dirt everyday??). I didn't want a super expensive one. I never had a robot vacuum before and hated to invest in something I may not like. I found robots more expensive than this one and less expensive. I ended up settling on this one for three reasons: it sat low to the ground (I have a low bed... more information below), 4000 pa of suction and the low $200 range for price. Happy with the price/value of this vacuum. It is a bit noisy when in the same room as us. I solved that by having it scheduled to run at 9am every day just so it's not as noisy when were are home. At 9am, everyone is up and out of the house so it can clean when we aren't underfoot. It is easy to empty the dust bin and rinse the filter and screens. I do this every day. I have had a few issues when I come home from work and it's not back to base. I have to go looking for it - it sometimes gets stuck under furniture, under my rocking chair (the rocker rocks down on it and pins it to the floor) or stuck on my one floor vent that is under the living room couch (we have an older home with the heat grates in the floor). This doesn't happen every time, but it will just shut down if it gets stuck and we aren't home to rescue it. CON: not always the best at finding base. Some days I come home from work and it's just sitting in the middle of a room - dead because it wore itself out looking to go home (haha!). Then there are days it's on base and I check the dust bin just to see if it DID remember to clean while I was gone. Once or twice it didn't clean at all but I'm not sure why (could be internet issues - ours goes down occasionally). PRO: we have a super heavy, solid Oak, King size bed made by the Amish in our bedroom. The bed takes several people to move - it's very well made - so I can't pull it away from the wall to vacuum under it. The bed sits pretty low to the ground and my regular vacuum doesn't fit under more than a few inches - even with the attachments added to the hose. It's carpet in our room so I can't just run a dry mop (Swiffer) under to collect the dust bunnies. This vacuum fits jut perfectly and zips right under there. I love KNOWING that it's clean under the bed now. LONG HAIR HOUSEHOLDS - WARNING & HINT: My only problem that I've had since getting the vacuum - I kept getting a "middle brush" error that I could not solve. I was ready to send it back!! I kept removing the brush (easy to do), cleaning/cutting the hair off of it with scissors and would snap it back in. I would turn it back on and the vacuum would shut down within a few feet with the same error. I was beyond frustrated. The brush was clean - yet it kept shutting off. Oh my .... let me give you a HINT!!! There is a little rubber cap on the one end of the roller brush. Pull it off and look if there is hair twisted around under that cap?!?! That was my problem. I got an Xacto knife and cut it away and I have not gotten that error again! I now check this spot on the roller every few days and clean the hair away. Both myself and my daughter have long hair and this little vacuum finds lots in our home.... I really like this vacuum. I am tempted to purchase a second one for upstairs. Right now, I just carry it upstairs once or twice a week to run in the bedrooms , bathroom and hallway. We keep this vacuum docked downstairs (where it does clean daily) but it's such a great little "helper" that I may invest in another one :-) I love that it works when scheduled and leaves me time for other things. (One other note: I did purchase the separate water tank for this vacuum. Not unhappy with it but it doesn't work like I thought it would. It just drags water and a pad across my floor. It doesn't "scrub", so I find that I prefer to just use the vacuum and hand scrub floors or use my steamer... just my preference! Having the water tank might be handy occasionally but I wasn't impressed with the job it did.) ... show more

    • Great! Took time to get used to it.
So I was nervous about buying a cheaper robot vacuum since half the reviews seemed fake and it was not returnable but I’ve really wanted one so I took a chance. There were cheaper ones than this and Roomba had better reviews but I really wanted one that had the mapping feature so I chose this one. Instructions are not the best, I had to google and YouTube several times to get the device synced to the wifi and app but managed it in one night. It came with 2 extra brush sweeping things, an extra filter, a cleaning brush and some heavy roll of what looks like magnet tape or something, maybe to block off certain areas, not sure. Love the app, Don’t see the point of the remote. I chose the lowest suction setting (I have hardwood floors and 2 rugs) and it was much quieter than a vacuum but still louder than I expected. However, I was able to have a conversation with someone so it’s not that bad. I’m not sure if I would run it at night, seems like I would hear it. Also, didn’t realize this one doesn’t have the sensors that stop it from running into things so it actually bumps into things but it has padding on it and bumps gently because of how slowly it moves. It cleaned about 1000 square feet in 45 minutes with over 70% battery left on lowest mode. It got a lot, the dustbin was almost full and the floors were probably 90-95% clean which is about how it would be if I did it. I’m guessing it would be 99-100% clean on a higher setting. The mapping is fantastic. It’s systematic finding the edges of the room and filling on. It fits under my couch, kitchen chairs and wingback recliners. It went over every threshold even both ways across one that is about an inch difference from one room to another. I set a cleaning time on the remote and a different one on the app. Each one doesn’t show up on the other but both worked. The app lets you pick a specific time where the remote is increments of 10. Everything is military time. It came with a battery for the remote. I called customer service before youtube when I had trouble and someone answered, I explained the problem and she said yes I can help you. Then silence. I said hello what do you need from me. 5 minutes of nothing. Called back and no answer. So hopefully I never need their assistance. It has a voice that says charging, cleaning, vacuum stuck etc. you can turn it off. Overall, this does everything I wanted and I’m very happy. We named it Pac-Man. Only had it one day but I will update the review after a month or so or if it breaks. Update: After using for almost a week, I found that I prefer to do one room at a time. This might be my OCD but because I have about 1600 sq ft being cleaned and I like to periodically monitor the mapping on the app while I do other things, I like closing the doors or blocking entrances so it will do one room at a time. I also arrange the room as I would if I were cleaning it; picking up my kitchen chairs onto my table even though it fits under them just because it’s faster. It takes less time bumping into the legs trying to find the perfect path. I also block off cords and make sure rugs are either flat or out of the way. Still less work on me. My entire house is hardwood or tile but I have 2 rugs about 6x4 each. One is the cheapest thinnest rug you can get and this thing goes over it without issues. The second is thicker but not super thick or shaggy or anything and this thing cannot handle it. It gets on and off easily but it doesn’t pick up any of the dog hair, just drags it around and constantly gets stuck, even on the highest setting. It will say roller brush jammed repeatedly and when I pick it up it’s fine there is nothing jamming the brush. I’ll set it back down without doing anything and it keeps going. Also, I tested this in a 20 square foot room and it cleaned the same area 6 times without stopping so I guess it doesn’t know when it’s done, it just cleans until the battery dies. Last, when I tell it to return to charging, unless it’s within 2 feet, it appears to aimlessly wander around until it finds its charging base. This could be normal but I feel that since it just mapped the house it should be able to find it’s way back better. The seller also included in the package that if I left a 5 star review that I could get my choice of 3 free items valued at $40 each so don’t trust the 5 star reviews. That is what I was worried about when reading the reviews myself. Tempting but I can’t give it more than 4 stars for these reasons. And if I had more carpet in my house it would probably be 2 or 3 stars. This serves me well only because I have hardwood. Another update: After 2 weeks, I realized that the rug was the problem. After giving it a deep cleaning, the vacuum works great on it. I have read this in other reviews that you should give your floors a deep cleaning and just use the vacuum to keep it clean. So it works best if it’s run often to clean a little instead of run occasionally to clean a lot. I’m very happy now that I’ve learned the ins and outs of it, I’m going to buy another for a family member for Christmas. Better instructions or customer service would have prevented the roller coaster of liking/not liking it but my review is now back to 5 stars just based on the product. ... show more
