This thing works beautifully! The manipulation of the tip angle is smooth and easy, and it can turn around and look back at the hole it just came through. But what really surprised me is the depth of field. While the really precise focus is as described- and you can clearly see your fingerprints clearly in that range, the actual range that produces a clear picture is far larger. The first time I turned it on, I could clearly see people across the shop, even clearly read the clock on a wall 15 ft away. An exceptional benefit is the ultra-small diameter of the probe, only .21". Most articulating borescopes have 8mm or .33" cables. That not only reduces where you can get into an engine area, but it increases the minimum radius that the cable will bend to, and that limits the ability to reach and see what you want in many situations. Overall, everything works better than expected. The light, the resolution and focus and overall ease of use make this the best borescope I've ever used- and I do own 4 others. Quality product. Steerable head is a great feature. Many options I would never use, but nice to have just in case. Well thought out and well made. Very pleased and an excellent value. Carrying case is a nice plus.

The Teslong Borescope has been a very useful tool for tackling inspections in tight and hard-to-reach spaces. The device is ready to use straight out of the box, with no need for additional apps or software. The 5.5mm slim probe, paired with the two-way articulation, makes it easy to navigate intricate areas like engine compartments, wall cavities, or HVAC systems without needing to disassemble anything. The 5-inch screen provides clear, high-resolution visuals, and the adjustable LED lights ensure excellent visibility even in dimly lit environments. I’ve found the 5-foot flexible snake scope a reasonable length for most tasks, offering a good balance of flexibility and control. I also have an 8-foot scope and have a lot more trouble with keeping it fully controlled while moving. While the borescope is packed with features, its intuitive design makes it surprisingly easy to operate. The ergonomic controls allow for smooth adjustments, and the durable build feels reliable. The rechargeable battery lasts long enough for extended inspections, and the included storage case keeps everything organized and protected. Overall, this borescope has exceeded my expectations, delivering both convenience and performance.     • Great picture quality, lightweight, and easy to use
I own a few other borescopes and this one is definitely the best. I don't have a regular commercial need for them but they're great to have on hand. The things that stand out about this one are as follows: - Great picture quality (clear crisp and good color) - Very lightweight - Integrated screen - Intuitive settings and user interface - Very small diameter for reaching tight places - Ergonomic and feels good in the hand - Come with a nice, medium-weight case - Adjustable light strength (or on / off) - Waterproof There is a handy "camera" button on the back side where your index finger would rest. It's great for taking snapshots of what you're looking at without having to move your hand to a different menu. The case is fairly well constructed and better than most that I would have expected with this type of off-brand device. I don't know how long it would stand up to daily commercial use if it was going to be sliding all over the place and used in a rough manner. But if it were taken care of, I think it would last for quite a while. For home use, it should basically last forever. If I had any suggestions for slight improvements, it would be a slightly sturdier case and a slightly longer scope. I think it's a reasonable length as-is (5ft) but would be nice if it were 6+ feet to reach just a little farther. But I will probably get rid of my other ones that are only 720p and keep this one on hand. ... show more
