I don't need a pocket sized notebook because I work in one place for the most part, but I like the medium format steno pads and composition books for making notes rather than a smaller note pad or a larger spiral notebook. This set of four notebooks is a little smaller than a composition book and with half the pages, maybe less than half. But they are so handy, and there are four in a pack, so it all works out.
