The pages have a perforated line for easy/clean tear. The squares are not a dark color; however, you can still see them in poor light. Cover page is of a thin material, not as strong as the back carton. Would recommend to reinforce the first and last spiral holes to prevent tear with constant use.

I use this for my class, and after use everyday it probably lasted me for about 3 months. It functions as intended, and I never had a problem with using it. However, the few pages at the beginning and the end ripped out on their own pretty early into my use, and the rest stayed intact. The pages allow for easy reading with both pen and pencil, and I didn’t have issues with the ink bleeding. The pocket size is pretty small, but I didn’t have much use for it other than storing a few lose pages, which it was able to do. The notebook doesn’t do much for you in terms of organization, so most of it is on the uses. For the price it was good, but I was left with a want for more pages. ... show more
