  • Works VERY well! Highly recommend!
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
We have two separate upstairs living areas, divided by attic. It's a bit of an odd situation and both areas are serviced by one a/c unit. During the winter, the area without the thermostat gets really cold, and during the summer, it gets really hot. It's nearly impossible to regulate temperature, even with a remote sensing unit on the thermostat. Worst of all, because the one area with the thermostat stays comfortable, the a/c rarely runs and the other side gets stagnant. I bought one of these inline duct fans and installed it in the side without the thermostat and it was a game changer! Even without the thermostat, it changed up the room temperatures AND kept the air circulating. I have been very pleased. Installation was easy - simply cut open the ducts and install the fan. Then, reseal the duct. I ran the speed control to an area where it could easily be accessed and there was plenty of cord to do that. Noise-wise, these fans are silent. There's very little noise and no vibration that I can detect. The only issue I had was that the side with the thermostat got less airflow than the other side as the duct fan was pulling most of the air from the a/c unit into the room. I ended up buying a second one and installed it in the duct for the other living area. This equalized airflow in both rooms and really made them both comfortable for the first time since moving in. I'm really pleased with their performance and am very happy I installed them. ... show more

  • Super quiet
Excellent product highly recommended. It’s lightweight and easy to install. I got the 10” powerful enough for my application.

  • Quiet and powerful
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
I installed this 10" fan as an in-line booster on a 9" flex duct using duct reducers ( if your duct is an odd size it is best practice to go with the larger sized fan). At level 5 it keeps the affected rooms nice and cool and better balances the AC throughout the house. At full-power it you'd think someone hooked up a jet engine to the HVAC. I have it installed over the ceiling in a bedroom closet and it's barely audible versus the sound of the air rushing out of the vents. I have it plugged into an outlet that is switched on and off by a Functional Devices RIB2401B Power Relay which is wired to my HVAC blower. ... show more

  • Worked better than expected, easy to install
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
So the kids room room is 40' away from the hvac unit and their room is always 5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Tried dampers first but didnt make much difference. So looked for options and this inline duct fan did the trick. Just had to pull back the factory flexduct from the splitter, install the fan, attached the flexduct to the fan, add a solid support and thats it. Currently running the fan at 25% speed and it moves alot of air and you can barley hear it in the rooms. I cranked it up to 100% to see what it would do and wow does this move some serious air but its loud at 100%. Plus 25% power is perfect for what I need it for. Just installed it yesterday and will update this review if anything goes wrong in the near future. Also a note* please be aware this is direct plug into a electeical socket which means it will run all the time. I went with a thermostat controller to turn the fan on and off when it detects the air temp difference. I plan on wireing up a relay so when the hvac unit turns on, it will turn this on as well. ... show more

  • great inline blower
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
Purchased this to install inline with ducting going from furnace in attic to basement in a split level home. Before install I did a bench test in garage for a week to see how it would handle. This inline blower is phenomenal and it's DB are on par as mentioned. I'm an Commercial HVAC Mech and know my equipment. I tried inline blowers from our suppliers and they were extremely loud and heavy, this thing not only pushes the air volume but is quiet unless you put it on full blast and super light. I removed its bracket and no vibration. I'm very much impressed with the 10" duct blower. Now only time will tell how long it will last. I have mine set up on a relay so when the furnace calls it kicks it on off a receptacle and to a switch in the garage if I don't want it to run with AC. It does have off/on with it's controller but when I want it off I want it off. I highly recommend this inline fan ... show more

  • Tiny Titan
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
Low noise, adjustable speed, good flow if not just a bit noisy at full tilt. The long corded controller is simple and easy to zip tie conveniently at hand. The plug in connection is held with an o-ringed plastic nut. The nut is easy to cross thread and bit tight. Running 10 hours a day, no problem and brushless motor is working well. ... show more

  • Quick response to an issue with the unit
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
I purchased the TerraBloom fan on 9/16 around 5 pm EST. Upon trying to install the unit around midnight, about 15 seconds after I’d turn it on the controller would start flashing an”E” (presumed an error). I contacted the company though their website around 1:30 am EST. Imagine my surprise when I received a call around 1:30 pm EST (10:30 am PST) from Steve explaining that if the controller cable is not sufficiently tightened at the fan, the rings on the cable could misalign causing a error. I tightened the cable nut as tight as I could and the error went away immediately. This all transpired in less than a five minute phone call. It is every day a company is so quick to respond to a customer’s issue (at least that’s not been the case for me). I did a follow message thanking Steve for his help and stated I would, and now am, recommend his company not only for a great product-I’d recommend his company for the quick response. The fan works absolutely great and should the need arise, this is the first company I’ll go to for a fan. Sincerely, Fred V. ... show more

  • Resolved restricted air flow issue
Size: 10" (Coated Steel Housing)
I purchase a 10” fan in hopes of increasing the airflow on a duct that was obviously restricted because it was smashed down in between the floor joists and decking of the second floor. This duct fed 2 vents that barely had any out flow. As a result the first floor area was struggling to keep cool in the hot summer months. With the addition of this booster the room has cooled down by 14F degrees and the A/C now cycles instead of constantly running. ... show more
