I don't think that I'll add a photo :) The Tena guards are the best made for both fit and protection. The drug stores in my area don't carry these guards - mostly just level one. If you need added protection, these level three Tenas are about as good as most full underwear.

Even for light duty, the other brand is a little too narrow. The Tena L1 is much wider, which is what I wanted. Not super thin tho. The weight is 50% more & it feels thicker. There is a level 0, but that's even smaller than the competition. Both Tena L1 & L0 are a lot more expensive. For now I'll stick with the drugstore clone of the Depends in the picture. ... show more

I have tried many other pads from different companies but TENA is by far a much better product to find a pad that’s comfortable and very effective then Tena is the product for you look no further.

    • The next step up in absorbency relative to a Depend Shield or Tena Guard.

For those who are familiar with male incontinence pads/liners, this would be the next step up in absorbency from a Depend Shield/Tena guard-style male pantiliner. There’s not a Depend equivalent currently made that offers a low/moderate absorbency like the Tena Protector Level 1. It is the same shape as other Tena pads for men, but noticeably thinner. This holds a lot less than it’s moderate or super absorbent versions. It can take two or three medium surges or urine before you need to change. It does well at not swelling up noticeably in more form fitting pants, masks odor well. If you generally suffer from light stress incontinence and sometimes have days where it’s noticeably heavier, I’d recommend having some of these on -hand as a step up from Depend Shields or Tena Guards.
