  • Decent, and fine for DIY, but tighten all screws!
Size: 20+30+50-Amp
First, as others have noted, this box is not UL listed. The practical consequence of this is that most electricians in the US will not install it, and if you’re subject to inspections, it likely won’t pass. That said, the build quality is “decent”. Not heavy duty, but not super flimsy. Exactly what I would expect for “residential” quality, but not commercial quality. My tips for others after installing: 1) The terminals/lugs are just screws without “capture devices”, and therefore seem designed to accept ferruled or otherwise terminated conductors, not the multi-stranded wires you’re likely to be running to this panel. A bit of a hack, but I added some uninsulated barrel crimps to my stranded feeder conductors and tightened the screws against those. 2) You’ll need to drill holes. I actually didn’t mind this as I wanted to enter the box from the rear as I mounted it on a wall, but the knockouts on the bottom seem to be metric(?), so to do it right you’ll have to drill in any case. 3) Check and tighten every screw! The listing says it comes with breakers and outlets preinstalled, which is technically true, but with the exception of the breaker lugs themselves, every single screw in the unit I received needed at least a full turn of additional torque for what I judged to be a secure connection. Some of the outlets even required multiple turns. 4) As an extra measure of safety I went ahead and installed a GFCI 50 amp breaker in the main panel to supply this panel. Yes, such breakers cost more than the panel but since it’s not listed and it’s outside I wanted to err on the side of caution. Inside this panel the 5-15 duplex receptacle (the normal outlet) is GFCI protected and works as expected, but the 14-50 (50 amp 240v) and the TT-30 (30 amp 120v) aren’t ground fault protected. If you’re plugging in an EV or an RV, especially one that’s outside, I’d recommend the extra layer of safety. 5) Not a big deal, but be aware the door/cover doesn’t “click” closed. It just sort of hangs there. In the wind, it will open and bang closed like a loose screen door. This is easily remedied by inserting something into the available padlock holes. Overall 4/5 stars. Perfectly adequate for my use but I think for the same money, or even $50 more I would prefer a standard American brand panel. ... show more

  • 20 amp receptacle was bad
Size: 20+30+50-Amp
20 amp receptacle was bad in the one they sent me. Had to go to Home Depot and spend $30on a new one. The breakers and receptacles are pretty cheap in it. If your getting ready to get one for your RV like me, spend the money and go with a better box than this one

  • RV power. Outside power. EV power.
Size: 20+30-Amp
This fantastic setup covers everything I might need power for. It is placed in a spot right behind my Class A RV, and that makes running the cable (30 amp) to it a breeze. The 110/120 will be great for any exterior outside electrical need, also think EV (20 amp) plug.
