I use this cord adapter for my 2023 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS and it works perfectly. Simply plug in and tighten up the collar. This attachment allows me to use an HD extension cord with a 220 outlet when staging at home before a trip. It allows me have “shore power” so my batteries are topped off and I can use at least use one air conditioner, if needed.     • Gotta Have it if you plug your trailer in at home
All I got when I bought my travel trailer was the big 30 foot 50 amp cable. It's thick and heavy - but that's the only thing I ever plugged into the trailer. I then bought adapters to reduce that down to 30 amp and then down to 15 amp at the plug-in side of the cable. This was just in case I camped at a place that only had 30amp service or 15 amp service - I'd be able to get power. But when I got home and if I wanted to charge up the battery and get the refrigerator cooled down before a trip - I'd need to drag all of that out and string it under the garage door to power up. With this - it plugs directly into the trailer and I can then string a light-weight 15 amp extension cord from the trailer and into the garage. I should have done it a year ago.     • Required to use 110outlet to maintain RV batteries
Required adapter to be able to use a 110v outlet at home or at storage unit to keep rv batteries charged. Realize that 110v isn’t enough to power our AC or slide outs but that’s not what we’re using it for so no problem. I really like that the connection to the RV is set at 90degrees so it doesn’t pull on the RV port. ... show more

Weather proof - no - but are any of them. I always purchase Camco when I can - Never had an issue with this brand They are more money them most, but they work and never had an issue.

This works when you need power and you only have small amp available, it worked great to keep lights on refrigerator going and microwave too

It now eliminates me to pull out the 50 amp power cord, hook it up to the RV and pull it over to the receptacle. And make the reduction to 15A after that. When fifth wheel is in RV garage this saves me some time.

I like using this short 50a to 20a adapter when I only need to keep it plugged in to keep the batteries charged up. This way I can keep my 25’ and 50’ 50a cords out of sight and locked up.
