This bulbous, burrowing battle base is the ultimate Foot fortress! It’s pure Technodrome terror as two towering levels of devious devices serve your every evil whim! Equipped with the Master Mutant Command Center and Turtle-smashing EyeSpy Radar, you’ll always be one step ahead of those attacking green Teens. Once the Turtles are in sight, aim the arsenal of Front and Back Rock Blasters to blow them to smithereens! Or retract the Hand Grip Guns to send them falling into the Secret Ooze Pit. If you’re feeling particularly mischievous, go for a little Turtle-tenderizing: there are traps galore for each of those Ninja nuisances! Get Bebop to lay a Teen onto the Mutation Mat—‘cause you can’t lose with the Ooze! The Spring-loaded Brain Scrambler is specially designed for Turtle twirlin’ torment! Catch ‘em off-guard with the Turtle-trap Trick Door that swings open for deposit into the forboding Mutant Jail Cell! When you get tired of terrorizing the Teens, get your mutant munition from the Weapons Storage Room to do in those dastardly do-gooders. If you didn’t get one as a kid, this is a great feel-good item. If you want it for your own kids, also awesome! Little smaller than original, which I don’t like, but that doesn’t outweigh the overall coolness of getting to own one again. I think if we consider that making it slightly smaller than the original likely had to do with affordability and keeping the price point at $80, than we can better get over loosing an inch of play space here and there with this playset. I find the size is adequate for play while still recognizing that the original was superior in that regard. The eyeball feature is not an issue on my copy, The box art is beautiful and the assembly was worth the effort. It feels sturdy and the plastic doesn’t feel cheap. Mine came missing a piece called the mutation mat. I was able to E-mail Playmates about the issue and a replacement piece has already arrived! Great customer service from them! It is a must have collector piece and totally fun toy from the greatest action figure era ever! My turtles have been running amok all over this playset and it has not been put away even once since it arrived. I even let the kids play with it too sometimes! ... show more

    • Nice display item, questionable for play.
After MANY delays, the Technodrome finally arrived today. There are a LOT of stickers so I recommend putting those stickers on before you actually try to put it together or it will only be more challenging to get some of the tighter spots. Mine arrived without any issues, no missing pieces or stickers and the eye fits ok. It's not super tight so it is easy to knock off, but stays on fairly well. It looks great when everything is assembled and done. It's a cool set piece to have to go with any other TMNT figures. Unfortunately the reduced size does limit the play capabilities. It's challenging to fit figures into the set properly, bit of a tight squeeze for sure. I never had this set as a kid so it is cool to have a version of it now that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars, but the diminished size does make it a little disappointing from a practical use standpoint. If you just want to be able to display it and enjoy having it though it's certainly an easier and cheaper alternative than trying to find an original. ... show more

    • Cheap, fell apart immediately
Very disappointed in this toy especially given its price. Took awhile to assemble, the stickers are already peeling off (it was a Christmas gift for my son) and the stands for the ninja turtles within the dome don’t actually support the weight of the toy and immediately fall. The eyeball at the top does not click / snap on in any way so it just falls off. Total waste of money. ... show more

    • Eye Feature Is Junk
The good: my son was happy he received it, so it was a worthwhile buy. The bad: the eye radar doesn’t “snap into place” like the instructions say, and merely sits on top of a small pole that might be a quarter inch high. Meaning every time he rolls it, it careens off to crash on the hardwood floor. He eventually gave up and tossed it in the box with the rest of the packaging and just plays without it. I mean come on, it’s a simple thing to make sure tolerances are correct. I’ll add some tape to the pole to help with the connection, but it should find thin right out of the box. ... show more

This item came in near perfect condition! Playmates factory shipping box, with the turtles artwork toy box inside. Very little damage! Great item to add to our collection. As with other reviews, may not be suitable to play with, but is great display item. My 11 year old is thrilled to have this in his collection. Down side, i ordered this in july, was supposed to be here dec 9th. It got lost, i had to order another one and the second one came in within 2 weeks. ... show more

    • Takes a long time to assemble and put all the hundreds of stickers on
After the long time putting it all together, my grandson plays with it ALL THE TIME! He has old ninja turtle characters from the 80's from his dad and it all works great. He's not one to usually focus on one toy for a long period of time, but with this one he can't wait to get here and play with it and the characters most of the day!! He's 5. ... show more

A great addition to the retro classic tmnt toy line, box art is awesome! Perfect for display! A little smaller than the original but way cheaper and brand new! Kids 5+ will like it but kids 35+ will love it 😊
