I think I get more excited about this fairy than my 6yr old grandchild. When this thing is fully charged, it takes off like a jet. You have to be careful because it will flick you really hard if it comes close to you or if it's grabbed the wrong way. I think it has potential to be destructive, so keep it away from your TV screens and glassware. One of the wings has already come off because it hit things so hard. Wow I was shocked by this toy gifted it to some kids I know and they won't put this thing down! She looks great she comes with everything you need and she's very easy to operate she hasn't hurt anyone yet or been caught in any hair, I think it's worth your money I've brought two! Durability could be better she will more than likely lose at wing after crashing into a wall (that happened with the first one) she still moves but has a bit of a problem doing so however our other is fine Update:It’s august now and our second one is still in good shape! ... show more

For whatever reason items like this do not stay charged very long, but I knew this going in. It was a gift for my 4 year old granddaughter, one she thoroughly enjoys, except for the short life span of its playability, which is frustrating for her. Fortunately, she has a great imagination, as do most 4 year old children, so, her little hands and arms make the fairy ball float around. Last week, I bought a Crystal Flyers doll for my daughter during my travels. The purpose was to surprise her with a special gift upon my return to Brazil. Regrettably, the experience has been far from what I expected. The doll, when placed in our living room to fly, consistently lasts no more than 2 minutes before colliding with the wall and crashing to the floor, causing distress among the children. Shockingly, during one of these falls, one of the wings detached, rendering the doll incapable of flying after just the first use. To summarize, the toy did not even last a day.
