Nice quality scope and red dot combo. Works great for CQB rifles. Very fast adjustment from 6X to 1X while staying on target. The reflex red dot can be removed if desired and mounted on a pistol. I started out with one late last year. My only bitch is it’s a little heavier than anticipated, but once you’ve put rounds down range with it the complaint vanishes. I’ve now own three! One on a 5.56 AR 16”, one .300 AR 16” and my 7.62 SOCOM II. I’m more than an enthusiast, I’m a competitive shooter, and US Army's small arms top three national team winner from 2022. easy to mount. sighted right in. Burris is an awesome company to deal with. Great optics. Super clear. They have a no questions asked warranty. i've shot Burris optics since 1979. I've bought 2 RT-6's now. Nicely balanced for the AR platform. Rock Solid Scopes.

    • Worked well for the price, but I would skip the Red Dot kit. Ultimately got returned.
The RT-6 is an incredible pick for the money. 1x is really clear and fairly distortion free. The included throw lever is really handy as well. The illumination is on par with other options in the $250-300 range but isn't quite as bright as higher-end ones like the Vortex Viper PST II. Eye relief is a little tight but perfectly acceptable however, the eye box was pretty particular. I opted for the mount and red dot package and that was ultimately why it got returned. The Fastfire 3 is a pretty old-school design with no "shake-awake" and only 4ish brightness settings (auto, low, medium, and high). The whole package was pretty bulky because the red dot has a Picatinny interface/ QD mount which then mounts to pic rail section on one of the rings. The result is a red dot that is pretty tall over the bore and a hefty mount. Since I'm not kicking down doors or larping too much cqb with this thing, I decided the red dot was not worth the weight or inconvenience. ... show more
