I love that this collar is made from fabric for my dog's comfort instead of leather or nylon webbing like most collars. The fastener on the collar also is a good size where on other collars they seem big for the collars and wouldn't seem as comfortable for a dog. I love the colored flowers on the fabric and the little charm is adorable. The fact that it was handmade was a bonus. It was made very well and the stitching looks very sturdy and durable. This collar is very sturdy for the price; clasp clicks closed well but is not too hard to release when needed. I’d recommend it. The colors really pop. My 7.5 lb pup needs about a 10.5” collar, so in size small the fabric was nearly doubled over once I got it adjusted—fine for us now since her winter coat covers much of it, and it’s nice that the bright colors show through a but, but it may look too bulky when we trim her for the desert summer. If your dog is slight and not fluffy, and you need a similar length, I’d go with XS. ... show more

This collar is perfect for a small female dog. I am sad that my dog has already outgrown it, so I will be passing on to a friend who has a small dog that will not be outgrowing it. This collar is very well made, and the fabric has a delightful colored flower design. The crowning touch is the very cute red and yellow flower bauble hanging on the collar. My dog fits into size Medium for collars - for some collars this means 1 inch width, and for others it's 3/4 inch. This falls into the latter category, so it's a slightly better fit for my dog than wider ones. The really good part of the collar is that it's super-soft cotton on both sides, so not only comfortable for the pup, but also for me when putting it on a removing it, and also if ever I need to grab her collar. The buckle seems strong - since my dog also wears a head-halter, the collar has no leash attached, and my dog also walks well next to me, so I've not the opportunity to test the buckle strength directly, but the stitching is solid so I have no reason to assume there would be any issues with it, ... show more

This fabric collar is made of an excellent fabric. It’s soft but not stretchy, and the colors are vibrant and gorgeous. A great choice for my fawn colored pup. Ordered this collar for our large breed 50 pound female Husky. The size chart was correct. The length is adjustable for comfort now and if she gets any bigger. It measures 1" wide as described. The plastic clasp closes easily and snug. It's easier to use than the belt type. It has a metal D ring for tags or to attach a leash. Both the clasp and D ring have reinforced stitching.
