The installation was easy. The difficult part was taking the box of the old fan out. Also, the box for this one is a bit smaller, and now I have to patch the empty sides left on the ceiling, which is more work and inconvenience. I probably should have bought a bigger one. The media could not be loaded. I installed this fan, which looks great and is quieter than expected. However, after the installation, the light did not turn on when the fan was running, and there was no way to contact customer service or tech support to help with this problem. Why will they sell something knowing part of it will not work, yet they make it sound like it works all the time? If removing it was easy, I was going to return it a long time ago. If the light feature is a priority for you, I would not recommend this unit. However, if you can overlook this issue, the fan does perform well in removing moisture from the bathroom.
