  • New favorite toy
Color: Black
Been skating for many years. First in street then bombing hills. Bought the mini and it's truly fun! Quick review: Pros: - Fast. It can get up to 24 on flat smooth surfaces quickly. - Small. Small enough to carry around when not riding. - Stable, no speed wobbles ever. Brakes are great for hills since you don't have to carve to slow down. - Charge time. Fully charges in 2 hours or so. - Remote. Remote is great. Easy to use and feels good in hand. Cons: - Heavy. As expected with a battery pack. - Wheels. Wheels are the biggest pain point. They are nearly unusable on rough asphalt. Slipped out once at high speed because they lost their traction due to being so hard. Also wheels are so hard you'll get sore feet from the bumps. YOU MUST UPGRADE TO THE CLOUD WHEELS. Once I got cloud wheels it's a whole new ride! Way more enjoyable and safe. - Battery life. First two weeks battery was great. Full distance as advertised. Slowly it has been getting less and less milage per charge. -Minimal kick tail. A bigger kick tail would be useful for getting front wheels up easier in case of bumps or sidewalk edges. Overview: Board gets some getting used to. Once you learn to transfer weight forward for starts and back for braking it becomes a blast to ride! It will be intimidating at first and braking is certainly the scariest part at first. I still only use the lightest brake setting which is fine for almost all riding applications. Cloud wheels are a must can't stress that enough! Would recommend. ... show more

  • Absolutely Amazing
Color: Black
After about 100 miles, the board is holding up beautifully and my top speed on it was 24 mph. Fantastic range and it’s smooth to learn on. I have not experimented with the other brake settings other than B1, so I’m sure I’ll be back to add once I do!

  • “The One”
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Let me tell you right off the bat.. this board is the raddest thing ive ever owned haha seriously! Ive been skateboarding and surfing my whole life. I grew up on the north shore of Oahu in Hawaii and know a thing or two about board sports. Ive always wanted an electric skateboard ever since i was a little grom.. but they were always too expensive and back in the day more experimental. So this is my first board, but it took a very long time for me to make a choice. Lots and lots of research, because i wanted this to be “the one.” I wanted a board that went fast of course, but also one that could go the distance. Also water proof was very important and durability. I also wanted a board that wasnt too long and bulky and had a lil kick tail. This board right out of the box knocked all expectations out of the park.. i have had it for a little over a month now and i have over 100miles on it and its going strong. Speaking of going strong.. geez this thing is blazing fast. Ive easily got it up to 30mph. It took me a couple times to get the hang of it because its so fast it will throw you right off of it when you hit the gas. This is my daily commuter. I ride this to work up fremont st every day in las vegas to get to work. Its perfect in every way. Fast, size is perfect and its stable as can be.. even at almost 30mph im just standing there like im floating on air. It has 4 speed settings so anybody can ride it from beginner to expert. It charges up in no time.. when you need to charge it at least. It goes forever on a single charge. The best part is the price.. if you know about electric skateboards you know that the price for one of these can be crazy.. especially for one that has all the bells and whistles like this one. Well im here to tell you that this board is just as good if not better than any of those $1200 boards out there i guarantee it! And its only $399 whhhhaaat!!? Right now if it broke, i would still be stoked because of how many miles ive already got out of it, i feel i got my moneys worth. Such a great board.. bluetooth connects perfectly every time.. i havent had any problems at all. This definitely wont be my last.. i 100% stand by this company and the boards they put out. I was not paid in any way for this review. This was me a regular dude just letting you know that this is an amazing product and if your looking to get one and dont quite know which one.. this is it. See my video of me getting off of work going down fremont st in vegas. ... show more

  • great out of the box - longevity issues
Color: Black
I have had this board, H20mini, for about one month. I have racked up 250km in that time. It is my first electric skateboard so I have no baseline for the electric side of things but I have had non electric longboards for years. THIS THING IS FUN! It has power and stamina. It zips around and does what you ask... even if it is begrudgingly for the first 100km. After 100km I noticed that at certain speeds the rear hubs will start to vibrate then stop when you change speeds. There is definitely a balance issue going on and I believe it has something to do with the bearings. I mean.. I am no engineer... oh wait... yes I am an engineer. The bearings are definitely going bad in the rear hubs (those are the expensive ones because they are fitted with a motor). The front left wheel bearings are even worse. The wheel has acceptable side to side movement but has very evident tolerance problem. One can tell because there is noticeable play when gently rotating the wheel around the x or y axis if the axel is the z axis. Luckily those are regular skateboard bearings and so are relatively cheap in comparison to the expensive motor hub bearings. It is not a bad value for the price. I just did not expect it to start breaking down so quickly. I would like to note that I am 6'2" 260lbs. Over the capacity of the board, 90 kg (198lbs). A good engineer will calculate a load safety factor of 1.5 giving this board an actual rating of 297lbs. Besides the safety factor it is noteworthy that the terrain one rides on will greatly impact the longevity of skateboard bearings. Rougher roads and sidewalks will cause impact and therefor high compression forces in the bearings. If the bearings and races are not hard enough they will become damaged with low impact terrain. I mostly road on smooth roads. I was hoping the engineering and bearings were decent on these boards. I may have hoped for to much. ... show more
