These keep your fruits and veggies nice and fresh, but they are hard to close sometimes. The lid has to be on just right in order for the lid to close. I clean them in the dishwasher and don't have a problem.

These little baskets work very well for extending the life of the fruit with a vegetable. The basket fits inside a larger bin, and it drains any fluids from the vegetables as they age. I could keep strawberries with the green head still on them for about 14 days after I wash them Dry them and put them in the bins. These do help produce last longer. I usually put a paper towel or napkin on the bottom so it absorbs water that might drip down. I like that the baskets can be used as colanders, but I still dump out the fruit on a towel after washing to dry them off. The baskets are a harder plastic than the clear containers, I think they might crack if dropped so I always store mine inside the plastic containers just in case one falls out of my cupboard. I wash them in the dishwasher, no shrinkage. I recommend these! ... show more
