I bought this to go over stick and pokes that were fading and I honestly love it. I was disappointed when I first opened it cuz when I hold small things my hands shake a lot more but I seem to be doing fine using it which is really surprising. Like everyone says the ink really isn't that good, these are fresh that's why it's so dark and since it's still pretty light right after doing it I'm assuming it's gonna fade really quickly. I think this kit should have came with some gel for the healing process cuz gel isn't sold in stores you gotta buy it online. About a week later: My review is still the same. I finish the hand tat, I am still wishing the machine was a bit bigger so I don't have to use the grip tape (the grip tape is uncomfortable for me to use cuz of the texture) you can tell in the areas I got nervous or my hands started shaking cuz of how small the machine is. It's also partially my fault cuz I do have carpal tunnel so that is on the record. For people with small hands or sensitive hand bones ect ide recommend something a bit thicker for sure, that or get a smoother grip tape for comfort. I've been using petroleum jelly for the healing process which will cause it to fade a lot quicker but it seems to be doing fine, was sensitive at the touch for a day or 2 but healed really quickly so that's a good thing. Still wish it came with something for the healing process, or at the least plastic to cover the tattoo while it's healing. ... show more

The machine works well, it’s great that it comes with so many cartridges, although if you’re practicing daily they run out fast. I would highly recommend buying different fake skin, I have a preference but I am not sure I can post it. The skins that come with are rather thin, and do not have a realistic stretch because they are so tough. I would not use these inks on human skin. Although it says it can be used, they are not great quality. Look into some better brands. If you are tattooing human skin, make sure you get more power cord covers and pen covers, this kit only supplied 1 power cord cover. Tattoo machine is okay, easy to assemble and is very quiet and does not vibrate much. Tattoo machine has an adjustable needle depth which is great if you tattoo with your needle hanging. It does rotate when I wrap my machine though, so then I have to readjust once it is already wrapped. I would buy new gloves as well. Personally these did not fit me, I had to get smaller ones. I really have enjoyed using this machine. I do with there was more of an instruction manual and additionally I was upset when I found from other sources Nd verified with the company that the colored inks that were included are NOT for tattooing- they are only supposed to be for practicing.
