❗️not a professional tattoo artist, this is just my opinion as someone trying to get into the art❗️It was easy to use but the practice skins are too thin, a tattoo should sit 2mm below the surface of the skin and these are only 2mm thick. To get better practice with depth control I suggest 3mm skins so if you poke through you know you went too deep. I purchased this is as a gift for my son and he absolutely said it is one of the better quality tattoo kits that he has owned. It has a nice grip and is good for both big or small hands to use. The inks that came with the kit are not the best qualify but not they re not the worst either. My son has done many tattoos around 20 so far with this kit and all have turned out wonderful. I am happy that it came with all the necessary equipment for him to start out with. He has had no issues with any of the equipment or the needles. Ugh the cord keeps getting too loose causing the machine to stop and start and stop and start I’d recommend buying this strictly as a practice machine do not use this on a live client. Get something more expensive that won’t malfunction. The ink included in this kit should not be used on skin!!!! Love everything included in this set though and it’s great to get as a starter to kit to see if you even enjoy tattooing! ... show more

    • Great kit for a Novice or Hobby
I'm far from being a professional artist and really only picked up the kit as a hobby to use on fake skin and maybe some small tattoos once I built up the skill and confidence. So far, my experience has been amazing! The kit includes everything you need to get started. Some things to note: -The kit only includes one pair of gloves, so I recommend picking up some more of these elsewhere. -I've not messed with the colored inks in the kit, but the packaging all the inks come in doesn't inspire confidence in using them on real skin. Like other reviews have mentioned, I'd pick up some higher-quality ink when tattooing real skin. - The tips seem to work great and I haven't had any issues, but again as other reviews have mentioned, I'd probably pick up some different tips when it came time to using this on actual skin ---- Honestly, for the price I can't think of a better option as a stepping stone into the art form of tattooing ... show more
