So it’s a good tattoo gun all I have to say about the color ink is if it starts to scab weirdly it could be one of two things 1. U could be allergic to colored ink or 2. You over tattooed one spot and your skin is trying to heal as a wound instead of a tattoo . Either way use aquaphor to heal a tattoo correctly. And only wash with non scented antibacterial soap every artist will tell you to use dial . And to not overwash the tattoo, give it time to heal. ... show more

I figured if worse come to worse, its not a huge investment to get started because it very affordable and made well and comes with everything you need to try it out. I am incredibly pleased with my purchase of this tattoo kit. The delivery was timely and didn't have any issues with the contents. I would however recommend getting a different fake skin since the one included is quite thin. The ink is questionable, even on fake skin, wouldn't dare to touch any human skin with it and I wouldn't use the included cartridges on human skin either, but they work good for just starting out. As for the machine, it's a great budget tattoo machine. I have been using it consistently for 4 months and it hasn't disappointed. I'm even using it to tattoo human skin now, but with ink and cartridges that were bought at an actual tattoo supply store. Overall, if you want to try tattooing, but don't want to spend 400$ on a machine, this is a great start. Still be careful though. ;) ... show more

I found this setup to be easier to handle as far as tracing the lines or freehand drawing. And it also is a lot easier to swap needles. The only downside I would say is the reciprocation of the needle is a bit different. But same as other guns if you just listen for the sound it makes you know when it's set right. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got a gun a few years ago just to try tattooing. Practiced on myself and friends. I always had a hard time adjusting the gun and never really mastered that. But this tattoo pen is crazy cool it makes everything so much simpler I love the kit for the price. But you are gonna want to buy better ink. Not that its not ok and you can tattoo with it but its not great quality In all with this pen i have done about 6-7 tattoos all on myslef lol but i did order better ink to use … but great buy sofar posted pics of my tattoo notice thr color difference from the cheep ink and the much better ink ... show more

I’m a beginner, but this kit has bang for its buck. The ink is pretty good, I didn’t have any reaction to it, but you should test yourself on a small spot. The gun is heafty had enough ink caps to get you going and the skin works good enough to teach yourself
