My skin is pretty sensitive to what I use for tattoo aftercare. I’ve had bad reactions to A&D ointment. Aquaphor has left me with mixed results. The Tattoo Goo kit has been perfect. The soap is really gentle. My artist told me to avoid antibacterial soap as it was overkill. But the soap did a really great job of helping me keep my tattoo clean as my skin started to seal up. The balm has been one of only a handful of tattoo moisturizers that I’ve been able to use. A thin coat over the whole tattoo is enough, and rubbing it in kept it from feeling sticky or having clothing stick to the tattoo. The lotion is good too. Non greasy, absorbs well. Great to use as often as I need. It’s kept itching and dryness to a minimum. Really happy with this aftercare kit. Highly recommended. ... show more

I bought these a few days before I got a new tattoo on my vacation trip and it has been a lifesaver. First of all, the small travel sized containers make it easy to carry around for the occasional pit stop to clean/disinfect/moisturize on the go. I like that this kit offers a couple different things needed for your tattoo. The balm smells nicely, and helped with a little bit of the cracking on my tattoo. It was very nice when I had a couple of spots that scabbed over. The lotion is nice, but a little oily for me. I did not try the soap since I already had soap. I will be saving it for my next tattoo though! My only suggestion would be if you’re going to charge as much as you do for this kit make the size of the balm a little bigger. ... show more
