I received this Tarps Heavy Duty Waterproof 10’ X 12’ 10 Mil in March 2024. The product I received matched the description and pictures on the Amazon page. I am used to the cheapest blue tarps available at my local discount hardware store and this heavy duty tarp is definitely a major step up from the cheap tarps. There is some kind of embedded rope or something similar that runs along all the sides of the tarp which adds strength to it. The grommets are nice and strong and I like how the corner grommets are extra re-enforced. The two sided coloring is also great to handle different needs. This appears to be a very nice and strong tarp and I'll be putting it to use protecting some equipment I have stored in my backyard. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for and this one, is a keeper!
This 10' x 12' heavy duty tarp is going to be perfect for our cross country trip this summer for our next USAF base move. We intend to use it to cover a number of large plastic stacking storage crates that will be holding all the contents, that most moving companies refuse to allow into their moving-trucks or, pods. Once wrapped in this tarp, the entire rear cargo load of our truck will be further secured with our cargo net to ensure that the tarp does not work loose and dangerously flap around unseen, for a 1000 miles. Yes, you've seen those folks! DONT be that guy! When moving, preparation is EVERYTHING. With its heavy duty rope reinforced edges and metal grommets, it's quality 10 mils thickness, it's promise not to deteriorate in the sun, and its quality re-enforced stitching, this tarp should easily manage these types of long journeys, for years to come. This is a decent tarp at a decent price. Silver seems to be the color of "Heavy Duty" tarps from a variety of manufacturers. I own a few silver tarps and this appears so far to be one of the higher quality ones I own. The grommets and the reinforcements the grommets sit on are good and strong. The thickness of this tarp is 10mil, which if fairly thick in "tarp terms" I plan on building a small shed this spring on weekends and this will be great to keep things dry while during the week when work is halted.     • Full-sized tarp, not quite heavy-duty
I got this tarp because I have two trailers to cover, one with snowmobiles, one with a boat. During the summer, I have the boat parked on RV pad beside the house, in winter the snowmobiles. Whichever is there needs to be covered when not in active use. This 10’x20’ size fits them both well, and the heavy-duty thickness doesn’t tear under snow-load and blocks enough sun well. First, this tarp is the first one I have ever owned that is actually the size advertised. Usually the size listed is the cut size, but the final finished size is 6” smaller. This 10’ x 20’ tarp measures as 10’1” x 20’2”. This makes it easier to buy the size you really need and won’t leave you just a couple inches short. On the other hand, this tarp is advertised as 10 mil thick, or heavy-duty. I am unable to measure a single layer thickness of the material without cutting the trap, but along a carefully folded crease, I measured the thickness with my digital calipers at several places. Interestingly, the thickest measurement was only 16 mils, which would say that the tarp is only 8 mils thick. But I also measured down to 13 mils, so perhaps the tarp is even thinner. Now, I don’t know what the official method for measuring and defining the tarp thickness, but I can say that it does feel lighter/thinner than the other 10 mil heavy-duty tarps I have. Everything about the tarp I received is good except the grommets. Almost every grommet is deformed and not going to hold well. The grommets did not get deformed during shipping - the box was fine.

I just opened this item up and I am very happy with the quality. It is nice and thick and the grey is a nice color to have on top of my wood pile. I wanted the tarp to help keep my wood logs dry for when I burn them in the fireplace. This is great for my purpose and is a nice size. It should last me a few years, but we shall see how long it will withstand the weather. ... show more

    • Large and Thick. Good protection.
This tarp is just what I needed for an upcoming Spring project. I'll be giving all of our metal patio furniture a fresh coat of spray paint and wanted to cover our driveway where I'll be doing the painting. Didn't trust that my sheet plastic would fully protect the driveway so ordered this tarp. The paint will not seep through this tarp! After the painting project, I will use this tarp to cover grill and/or patio furniture - I won't care that it has paint on it - at that point will just be used to keep items dry. ... show more
