I stretch a clothesline from pole to pole and strung the tarp on the line and closed it like a curtain. I tied the bottom to the bottom of the poles. These are heavy duty tarps and they look very trustworthy. Turns out I needed something else for my project so I have to return them and didn't get to test out but I unpacked it and it seemed like a very high quality tarps. Nice grommets, no holes etc.
