This tarp is good, it is waterproof and seems sturdy. I can’t comment on durability yet because I just got it but it’s doing its job keeping the huge amounts of rainwater from getting into my basement. Good deal for a large and thick tarp at a reasonable price. Speedy shipping too !

I would consider this tarp a midweight which is what I wanted to cover my kayak trailer. It seems tough enough to hold up yet light enough to handle. The silver color is amazing at reducing the heat intensity while in the sun.

This 14 ml tarp was put to use as a replacement roof for a horse turn-out shelter. The sturdy grommets attached well using metal epoxy treated zip ties. Only been up a few days but has weathered two bad Florida thunderstorms so far. It is as heavy as the manufacturers replacement cover but 1/6th of the cost, and the silver keeps things cooler. As a regular tarp, works fine.. however pulled taut in 15-20mph winds and the tearing around rings (aside from the reinforced corners) commenced near immediately.

Bought the 14mil 16x20ft heavy duty tarp six months ago as a replacement to cover outside patio furniture subject to winter no. Nevada gale force winds, snow, rain and sun. Wind buffeting had totally trashed a cheap tarp into narrow icicles. Just took it off for the summer season: not one tear, grommets and perimeter stitching totally intact. And, that, despite not the best rigging job on my part w/ cheap securing cord/rope allowing the tarp to blow in the strong winds which Reno is known for. Those cord/ropes eventually were trashed due to both weather and wind effect. I'd buy this again in a snap! ... show more
