My son has two 75 gallon tanks with two red eared sliders in each tanks and they are messy! He was really struggling keeping the tanks clean and the filters he had were soooooo loud! These are quiet. Worst filter I have ever owned in my whole entire life. It stops working every 2 to 3 days and I have lost almost all of my fish due to this worthless filter. My fish tank is literally brand new, I got it for Christmas. RETURNED got my money back and purchased a fluval filter. My lone survivors are doing much better now. It supposed to eliminate algae with the UV light. But machine on one side, algae grow right next to it like this algae organism is laughing at your machine like it’s a joke.

I got this filter a few days before Thanksgiving keeping my fingers crossed that it would clear up the pea soup that used to be my aquarium. By the time Thanksgiving got here it looked great!
