I saw this litter box cabinet on Prime Day. I honestly had no idea that there was even a cabinet for cat boxes like this. First, it looks beautiful with the lighter wood and black handles and such. Looks like and actual piece of furniture. It is sturdy and built very well, which sadly is not the norm anymore! Everything made today is meant to be disposable. This way they can capitalize on just about everyone and/or any thing, over and over again! So I am still soooo happy with the finished product, which even though there is so much missing out of the installation instructions, it wasn't that bad putting it together. Since the cats are able to use the restroom with privacy now, you don't have to watch or smell them anymore!! Controlling and eliminating the smell is the most important thing! But it also decreases the amount of litter on the floor because of the little hallway they walk through to get in and out of the box. It is made up of the same cardboard as their scratching post and it has a bunch of little cutouts in it designed to shake off the litter on the way out! Fabulous piece of furniture!! I would love so badly to get 3 more of these for a couple more family and friends that help with saving and fostering! And honestly it has totally been a game changer! ... show more

Attractive cat washroom. I love this style that have the scratch pad side hallway, because my cats have to walk on the scratch pad and this is where 90% of cat litter on my cats paws will track off instead of tracking on my floor. This hugely reduces cat litter scatter. Other considerations: I paid $86 and this feels like a good price for what I got. It was easy to put together. Excellent instructions, except I don't know what the little plastic thingies to go on the back are for. I couldn't figure it out, and there were no holes for screws, so I tossed them. The unit is overall fairly sturdy but I don't think it will last forever. I took one star off because the divider between where the litter pan goes, and the scratch pad hallway leaves a huge wide space - 11 inches - too wide. I don't want the divider to leave such an open space, because I want to force my cats to walk more on the scratch pad, so that more litter brushes off before they walk on my floor. To fix this I duct taped a cardboard divider to fill the space and leave my cats 6 inches to walk through. That's plenty. Otherwise a great cat washroom. ... show more

    • Not difficult to assemble at all!!
After reading all of the negative comments on assembly I was concerned about this item, but took a chance and purchased it anyway. I’m glad I did!! It was not difficult to assemble at all. All boards were labeled with letters as well as the bags with hardware. I did choose to take a reviewer’s suggestion about using wood glue to help sturdy the sides. Maybe will help with the longevity of the cabinet. It has ample room inside. Large enough to fit my very large litter pan. As far as I can see now, this enclosure will work perfectly. ... show more

I ordered the Oak color when it was on sale. It’s a little tricky to put he 1st few steps together by yourself. Having a second person to hold it really helps(I took a couple pictures of the area where it was tricky). Once, it’s mostly put together it’s pretty easy to continue until finished. I couldn’t line up the doors perfectly but that’s ok because it’s in the basement. I needed something to keep the dogs out of her litter box. Hopefully this will keep them out. Overall, it’s very cute and looks like pictures. It’s not a tall or large piece of furniture. UPDATE: Our stray used it that night! The scratcher entrance area really helps knock off any extra litter from paws. I would recommend using a protective mat under the litter box, incase of accidents. But, I clean the litter twice a day to prevent “over flows”. Very happy with this purchase! ... show more

    • Use wood glue
The litter box enclosure is solid. The assembly of this is tricky, and I would recomend two people. I used wood glue in the wooden pegs. Seems more sturdy now. Also, the litter mat which is supposed to catch the litter is a joke. It's nothing more than corrigated cardboard. The litter does not stay contained in the litter trapping mat, but the enclosure itself is large enough for a decent sized litter box. My boy is 20 lbs. and fits nicely. ... show more

    • Once it is assembled it looks nice and is sturdy, very good customer service
Update: Adding a star to this review. The seller reached out to me to make things right and really seems to care. While this was definitely not easy to assemble it is nice they stand behind their product. So once you manage to get this assembled it looks very nice and is quite sturdy. Of course getting it assembled is the hard part. First of all, none of the dowels fit quite right in the dowel holes. They are all just a little bit too small. So they kinda help get things aligned and then just fall right out. To assemble the main part of this you need to precariously stack the walls on (being held semi upright by the loose dowels) and then somehow screw the walls on from underneath. Very bad assembly design choice. Once again, though if you can mange to get it together it looks nice and is sturdy at that point. I also ran into issues that one of the legs would not stay on (the screw hole just fell apart when I screwed into it, all sawdust no grip). I just jammed a toothpick in there and it provided enough tension to hold the screw in, but it is still a bit loose. I guess the last important thing of note is this is a good value for the money.
