This is a nice coat. Amazon suggested a size too big and I did not care for the green shade. Exchanged for what the size chart says and it fits true to size. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a darker charcoal grey. I would buy this coat if they had charcoal, hunter green navy or a burgundy.

I finally decided on this coat because it had the pea coat look and I thought the hood could be useful. I wear a large and am a size 12. I didn’t want to buy the wrong size and have to return it. It’s a beautiful coat! The green is beautiful and it’s soft and feels like it will be warm. Huge hood. It fits a bit big and I got medium and an 5’3” and 140 lbs. a little too roomy. I would have kept but the sleeves need to lose about an inch or two

I just received this and I could not be happier. Rarely do I find something that fits perfectly. I had been looking for a couple of years for a simple dress coat. Not too warm, but still toasty. Not too heavy. Something I could wear over sweaters. This is just great. It fits me to a tee (which I never seem to find - I am 5'4" 140 pounds and I purchased a Medium). Nice deep pockets. I love it. The coat is not flimsy. I like the button detail on the hood and in the back. It’s very well made. I’ll dry clean when it needs it. The outer layer is soft and smooth almost like a felted wool. And the hood! I wanted a detachable hood but this hood is not, BUT it has a unique shape with two seams. More like a cloak hood from the 15th or 16 th century but not pointed. It drapes nicely. I also love the deep pockets, placed to comfortably put hands in even with gloves on.
