As of writing this review I've put just about 200 miles on this bike, let me say it has been a blast. I got this for a little bit of everything. Using when im out in the Van to run to the store, take on the MTB trails with the pup, and saving steps running back and forth around property. My neck of the woods are all hills, some have some pretty steep grades and this bike handles them like a champ. I'm just under 6' @ 150 with long legs and the adjustment range the handlebars & seat post are really appreciated. When I'm on the sidewalk/roads I'll raise both up to make it a more upright relaxed pedal position. Then out on the trails/property I'll drop them to a low MTB setting making it easier ride the hills. Let's talk about the battery. My honest expectation with the price range of the bike, and the terrain I normally ride on wasn't high. Most of the hills are no less than 20° and most are 30-45°. When I first got the bike, the motor really surprised me. SUPER torquey, I expected some, and power hungry on the battery. The settings on this controller though are awesome. It took me about a week of trial and error on a few key settings. # of Magnets, Pedal Assist Start, and Ah power limit from ECU. I don't remember what the original settings were tbh, but it would last about 6-8 miles on pure motor and ~ 15-25 miles on pedal assist. Again, I'm in the hills where the only flat terrain is the foundation your house sits on. But after finding the sweet spot on those 3 settings it made a world of difference. I was able to not have it lurch the second I touched the pedal. It gets around 15-20 miles purely on motor and 20-40 miles when I pedal (depending on how much I really want to pedal and hills). Another way to see the battery life is I put about 3-8 miles mixed (motor/assist) on it daily. When I'm more motor I'll charge it after the 2nd day, while pedaling can push that to 4 or 5 days before I charge it. I don't let the battery get lower than 2/5 though and usually it still has 3 bars when I plug it in. The other setting I went back and forth on was the # of motor "gears". The default was 3 and you can do 5 or 9. I ended up sticking with 9 for a few reasons. A) It helps the motor ease into the pedaling with you B) It tremendously conserves battery if more power isn't needed C) It matched the bikes gears much better. Though I only use 5-9 when I'm battling a hill or not pedaling. I don't write reviews. The value you're getting from the price point and performance (motor strength & battery life) is tough to beat. I do love the bike, super easy assembly!! Very comfortable ride . It would have got 5 stars, it says up to 65 miles on the add, but up to 50 in the actual bike manual!!!! That would have actually made a difference on my purchase decision. But it’s here and I really enjoy it

After spending hours on Amazon, ebay, Aliexpress for a 500w+ ebike with integrated wheels and easy removing battery pack, I found this Mukkpet ebike unmatched by all. The shipping cost is high: $200. But the total cost is just $700. Integrated wheels: I have ebikes with steel wire spoke for wheels. they are lighter but wear down the inner tubes faster. They also need adjustment/tightening from time to time. The wheel deforms easily if you hit somsthing or fall. Out-of-the-frame battery pack: There are ebikes with similar pricing but with battery pack inside the frame which cannot be removed without folding up the bike first. (I prefer to charge my batteries to 80-85% after each use so they last longer.) This ebike is the least expensive one with both features I want. I received it in just 6 days thru Fedex. The box got a puncture which worries me a little. Luckily the content is OK. The bike took only 20 minutes to "unfold" (There's no assembling except 2 peddles). Tire pressure is low so I pumped them to 30 psi. Battery is precharged to 70%. It's a Hailong type battery with controller build into its base. This means you cannot change it to a different battery+base; This also means you have to buy another battery/base/controller combo if your controller goes out. Breaks and the motor all work. The quality of the bike looks very good. The only thing I wish it could improve is the seat post: The last inch thin out and the post lock cannot tighten it. So if your feet are short you may want to add something to the last inch of post to make it thicker. Now it's icy outsides. But I am happy with this purchase. I'll test ride it soon. *One week after: My wife test rides it in town. She likes it. It's more powerful than her older ebike which is only 350w. This bike carries her up a steep hill easily. Her only complaint is the seat cannot be put down to the lowest position. So now I got a job to find something add to the seat post... ... show more

    • Great bike, battery lasts a very long time
I love this bike! It goes so fast I decided to buy a helmet for safety. I bought this to keep up with my husband on his one-wheel and ended up having a great bike to ride whenever. I would definitely recommend. The only draw back is that it's heavy and big. Even all folded up, it takes up quite a bit of space. I can't pick it up on my own, my husband has to help me. But if you are riding from your house, this would not be an issue. It is a pretty tall bike as well, so if you are short like me, it's a bit challenging. My husband at 6'1" has no trouble. I haven't ridden more than a few miles at a time, but there was still full battery after several miles. ... show more
