They're comfortable enough. The pillow cases are designed so the end isn't open, but rather has a flap of sorts that the pillow goes into. I like that, my pillows are constantly trying to escape the case like open ended ones.

Just what we needed for my 15 yo son’s room. Not a plush set for fancy rooms but it’s warm enough and practical. It comes with four pillow cases (incl two shams). We don’t use flat sheets but it comes with that as well. Quality for the price
