  • Downer item!
I purchased the box of questions thinking that it would be something fun to have around. I was wrong. The questions are based on morales and other awful situations. Here are two examples: What would you do if you saw a dog trapped in a hot car? What would do if the clothes you bought were made by a sweat shop? Well now I am just depressed and sad at the thought of either of those things. I want to cry because these cards make me think about the worst in people and society. Yuk! How are these questions fun or entertaining? I guess I am missing the point completely! If you want to depress your guests and make people feel uncomfortable then buy them and see what happens? Maybe you could pull them out when you want people to leave your house. I would have thought of questions like what was your most embarrassing moment? or something else along those lines. A party is about having fun and socializing not something to start debates or depress people. I threw the cards into the recycle bin and will keep the lovely box for something else more worthy. ... show more

  • This deck questions morals and politics
I love table topics. This particular deck is not fun. Particular politicians are mentioned. I have had more than enough snide remarks from both sides. The moral questions are repetitive. This is not a deck I recommend.

  • I love these TableTopics (played at a friends house)
I must have pushed the wrong button. I love these TableTopics (played at a friends house). SO HAPPY I ordered two. This one is HORRIBLE. I would never ask my friends or family these questions. The cocktail one is great. This one I would like to return or put it in the trash. Order the Happy edition, Cocktail any of them but this one. Super heavy - morale questions. ... show more

  • They are all corny
filled with questions that really wouldn't apply the the modern person. "What would you do if you found Jeff Bezo's wallet?" Umm pay myself back for this corny card set I should not have bought.

  • Not conversation starters - many y/n Qs
I ordered these for bell work social emotional learning for my high schoolers. I was DISAPPOINTED in these cards. They are labeled as “conversation starters” but many of the “prompts” are closed-ended yes/no questions which students will answer and stop. There will be no discussion or elaboration. Moreover, many of the “prompts” are just yes/no POLITICAL scenarios that clearly present a “correct” answer based on the wording skewed politically towards a certain leftist party. I can’t do that at school. These are not conversation starters, but leftist morality detection cards LOL (Not that leftists are evil- I just have to be careful at school and these cards ARENT going to work for that) I’m definitely returning them. ... show more

  • Lame questions
Have used this game at my brother's in a different version. Thought I'd try a different set. They are quite expensive for what I feel are bad questions. I read through them all and donated. I then purchased the same set my brother had- the red ones.

  • Highly redundant cards, mostly dealing with ethical or moral situations
I had high expectations for the Tabletopic brand, and especially this set of cards. But I was highly disappointed. The price and what you get is really not of equal value. The main product with this deck is that the questions are highly redundant. In addition most of the questions are about ethics and morals. I have nothing against those types of questions, but when you are getting one after the other after the other which are basically asking the same thing it gets old. I am very disappointed with this particular deck, and I actually want a refund for it. ... show more

  • Had no idea how much I did NOT know about my friends!
I will admit, I did not have high expectations for this "game." But, I will tell you, we had a blast with it. You can play with as many or as few people as you want. And it isn't a game, it's literally asking the participants what their reactions would be based on the statement on the card. I was surprised at some of the answers of my friends. I know everyone has skeletons in their closets but... yowza, this will help you find them! ... show more
