First off disappears to be very well made. It's heavy and sturdy. It comes in two pieces, the outside pot and then the inner pot that actually holds the alcohol to burn. I love that it does not require special pods or fuel that you must constantly purchase. Any bottle of 91% rubbing alcohol will do, and that's cheap and easy to find. Obviously it lights very easily and do follow the instructions use a stick candle lighter, not a regular bic , you will regret that. It says indoor outdoor use, I would be careful with indoor use as the flame is quite large, maybe in a very open area like a kitchen island. Outside it's perfect for on a deck or picnic table which is how I used it. I would not leave it out in the rain. It seems like it would do fine in bad weather, but it's easy to put away and does not take up much space, so why not give it that little extra bit of protection. It is an absolutely perfect smore maker and was a lot of fun. ... show more

What a great fire pit!! It's easy to use and made of ceramic, so the container will never catch fire. It will get warm in the inner basin, but the outer basin stays cool so it can be transported easily. Using 70% isopropyl alcohol it produced a clean flame and there was no odor from the fire, only the unburnt alcohol. The included snuffer put the fire out in seconds. It is a little larger than I thought but it is a perfect size. It makes for a terrific table centerpiece too. WHAT I LIKE -Completely ceramic means it will never burn. -Outer and inner basin means it can be moved easily as long as you don't touch the inner basin -Isopropyl alcohol is cheap! -included snuffer puts flame out very easily and quickly. WHAT I DON'T LIKE -Nothing! This this is great! ... show more

Exactly as pictured, sleek modern design. It's heavy which means it can't be easily knocked over. I just make smores with it or just stare at the fire. It doesn't give off any heat unless you're right ontop of it. It's cheap to use unlike most fire pits. A bottle of rubbing alcohol of 70% or higher is all you need. I wouldn't use it indoors as my flames jumped real high. ... show more

It looks and works exactly as the pictures look like. The bottom and sides stay relatively cool because, there’s a barrier between the fire and outer case but, I’d still recommend having it on top of something that you aren’t going to worry about, just to be safe. I wouldn’t recommend moving it around while lit since it could spill and that’s not good. As a reminder, it’s made of ceramic but, it’s deceiving because, it looks and feels like it’s cast iron but it’s not. It comes with a lid to quickly put it out. The media could not be loaded. Works Great for Smores - Indoor or Outdoor. We did both at our cabin this weekend. The Ceramic Fire Bowl does not get hot to the touch. Just add Rubbing Alcohol (70 to 91%) to the bowl and light. The Flame is quite impressive. No smoke when using it indoor or outdoor. Both times it melted the marshmallows to make a perfect Smore - Although it doesn't give off any heat, it is a great for an outdoor evening treat. ... show more
