I wanted pretty lights for my aquarium then I saw these and it blows bubbles it works great the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the remote does not work it is made very cheap...also I had to return the 1 one I ordered ÿou have to order a smaller light than what your aquarium is or it will not fit in the tank they do not explain this very well (or at least I did not understand it) ... show more

    • Works pretty well if you know how to set it up

The media could not be loaded. Works great once you know how to set it up. I didn’t realize that you had to have the air hose set up on both sides of the panel until I put it on only one side and the bubbles were unevenly distributed. Once I added the other tube, it worked beautifully.

    • Noisy, suction cups don't work & bubbles only partially work after one week.

Pro's: The remote works great and there is a great variety of lighting colors to choose from. Easy installation. Con's: -The suction cups don't hold very well at all. I have to put my hand in the tank once a day to press the suctions cups down so that they'll reattach. Otherwise the entire piece will float to the top of the tank and blow water into the lid of the aquarium. -I did as some had suggested in previous reviews and plugged the strip in before placing it in the aquarium to help ensure there would be no clogging. The bubbles were great at first but after only a week there were only around 5 strands working. I've tried wiping off the strip too. It's not the end of the world but it sure was cooler looking when all of them were functioning. -I was surprised by how loud this item is. I've gotten used to the sound but I don't know that it's good for my fish. Overall I'm not happy with the product. It wasn't cheap and certainly not worth the money that I spent on it. I plan to get rid of it and find another item of better quality. ... show more

Only about 40% of the bar had air bubbles coming from it. I upgraded to a bigger air pump with no difference. Also, the lowest setting of the lights is still a little bright. On the upside, the lights are quite bright when you want them to be.

    • Most colored lights stopped working after 4 months

The product as a whole is ok. The air curtain is still mostly working but most of the colors stopped after four months. Don’t waste your money. Would not but again.

It took a while to get the bubbler functioning properly, probably about a week. I initially had to play with the angle of it to get bubbles to come out of every orifice. Now at 2 months in I no longer have to play with the angle, it seems to work fine even when the bubbler gets moved. My fish tend to like the lighting from the bubbler more than the lighting from the overhead LED lights. They tend to come out more when only the LED from the bubbler is on. The 20" bubbler is the perfect size for my 29 gallon tank. It comes right up to the filter, but not so far that it effects its function. The only downfall so far is that the suction cups let go every 2 weeks or so and I have to reach in to readjust it's position. ... show more
