** THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFIC TO THE 9" screen for the Toyota RAV4 **. I have been very nervous about this product as it was an unknown brand but I loved how it was shaped to fit my 2017 Toyota Rav4. Listed as a plug and play we watched the video and debating doing it ourselves, but opted to take it to a local car stereo expert. They, too, had not heard of the brand and they warned that many times the steering wheel control does not work with some of the lesser-known brands (they weren't trying to sell me anything that would make it work). The cords were clearly labeled and all items were intact. We opted to purchase an additional cord to keep the USB alive (we purchased directly on the SYGAV site but it was taking so long we purchased a maestro from crutchfield. Both arrived on the day of install so we took them both and they wound up using the Maestro cord. Installer was VERY complimentary of the product and confirmed it was extremely easy to install (enough that she took the price down for us) Steering wheel features work fine. She said she will be recommending it to others and would even think about putting it in her own truck. Pairing of our google phones with WiFi was a little clunkier than most brand names but the screen is responsive and somewhat intuitive (I am pretty inept with electronics). I will post again in a month after I have been using it. Back up camera isn't as clear as the Original, but I might be able to play with the screen. the video on You Tube was amazing (better than my own Samsung tablet). Looking forward to this - that old Entune system was a disaster. ** UPDATE AFTER USE: STILL LOVE IT ** Six months later and I will say I really do enjoy the screen and options it provides. I am not doing the full five stars because it is NOT the most intuitive to use. I was trying to use it with Android Auto but that proved too challenging (that may be more on Android Auto the this product). I use my cell phone as a hot spot and wow - it's like having a tablet in my car! I am completely hooked to google assistant and maps and the screen is great! Can easily download all apps on google play. The bluetooth phone acts up on occasion for reasons I have yet to determine - sometimes it just doesn't sync. The actual radio does not have HD (yes - I am still old school and would prefer just a local radio station vs iHeart radio or other streaming options which I do use on longer road trips). I am honestly still unclear if my USB option works - it charges, but I was expecting a mirroring situation which I don't see it happening. I have never contacted support and I did purchase a warranty on the unit through amazon for peace of mind. I would rate myself about a 4 on a scale of 1-10 for technical savvy and I found my way around okay, but it took a lot of time. ... show more

4 year old 2014 RAV limited just suddenly dead on the navigation system. After being told $1000-2000 depending on labor cost and product option, we decided to try our own by watching youtube vedio. The whole installation only took 40 mins as hubby is a handy person, but it really easier than thought. All u need is a open tool to disassemble and plugin, couldnt be simplier. Functions: amazing! Google map, youtube, netflix with wifi setup with your phone. It can also mirror your phone. OMG It really like inserting an ipad in your card with simple touch screen. One bad performance so far is the screen got freezed once when we backing the car. NO RESPOND! But then it was finally solved when we reset everything to original. We guess it is because system language changed. Since it back to English, no issue found ao far. Hopefully it can last longer than the old one. ... show more

This is an amazing unit, the design is very top notch, system performance is dramatically improved compared with PX5. I installed the external microphone, and I am so impressed with call audio quality while on bluetooth (people don't even notice the difference, this is a huge plus). GPS is unparallel, I am so glad that I bought this unit, because the Customer Support is excelent, I have it installed on my 2018 RAV4 LE and asked the vendor for the AC vent holes caps, and they provided them separately, but they are planning to includ it on the package. (This is NOT a paid review, not sure why others gave a bad review to this unit) ... show more

This package arrived as expected. The radio had a nice fit and finish out of the box, but during installation was when the various problems first started to appear. Instructions for installation were virtually nonexistent. This was problematic given some of the mis-labled cables. I had several cables labeled, “camera in”. Good luck with that. Also had cables and connectors that were unlabeled. Eventually., and with the help of a You Tube video, I got the connectors where they belonged and “Viola, it works!”. Well, actually, not so much or so good. When installed, the radio caused a couple of dash warning lights to come on. One of the warning lights was the skid control warning light and the other was the tire warning light. As long as the radio was installed, these warning lights stayed on. Whenever the control interface module (that came with radio) was installed the warning lights came on. When the module was left out the lights worked as expected. Leaving out the module meant that the remote controls for the radio do not work and the backup camera does not work. That is how I was forced to leave the radio- half working. I sent an email to customer support and got a run around when what I needed was a working radio. Eventually, I gave up frustrated with both Amazon and the people who sold me the radio. Evidently the custom chips in the module were defective. That was not the end of the problems. The quality of the FM radio audio is quite poor. I am not an audiophile but the distortion from the radio is audible and annoying. I wish I had never dealt this company. I wasted a good deal of money and I am currently looking to buy a used OEM radio. No more foreign junk with no customer support. ... show more
