This product is well designed and has a greater weight capacity than most others in this category. The metal components almost appeared to be heavy duty but the were sufficient and lightweight. The hooks were large enough to support large knobby mtb tires and wheels. Use of product once installed was simple and quite flexible. The installation was also straight forward. Screws and anchors are provided but the instructions said not to use the anchors. Odd. The product is exactly as described and has freed up much needed space in the house and garage. Install does require you to have a couple of tools in order to get the mount plumb and screwed in, but so long as you have them, the install was straight forward. I really like that the bike can swivel as I have some items behind it that I would occasionally need to access, but, when I don't need them, the bike just sits in front of them like a swinging door. Materials seem fine, there's obviously plastic involved, but, overall, the quality seems pretty good. The anchors for the mount as also very hearty and could hold significantly more weight than the bike I put on, so it may be an option for a heavier e-bike, but you'd also have to be the one hefting it up there in the first place, so take that for what it's worth. Been looking to get rid of my dual bike stand and maybe open up more space in my garage... this swivel bike mount does a pretty good job of that for my purposes. Directions are all visual, but it's a pretty basic install regardless. As you can see, I got it pretty close to a corner in my 3-car garage and so was able to find a stud to drive the screws into. It's helpful if you have a long arm on your ratchet screwdriver so that the rotating mount does not get in the way. I used a drill to pre-drill the hole and then used it to get the screw started. From about the halfway point, I switched over to the ratchet, which worked great once I put the longer arm on it. My only real complaints are two: 1) the swivel moves pretty easily and so it will take some getting used to lifting the bike and getting it onto the hook holder without the swivel complicating that hooking. 2) you can see in the pic that while this swivel gets you pretty close to the wall, there's nothing included to help make sure your pedal doesn't mark/damage the wall, etc. The Bottom Line: I was a little concerned about a swivel mount based on having to have the right space to find a stud to attach into given my entire garage is all dry-walled; however, once found, actual installation was straightforward/easy and I like the results ... just lacks that pedal protector pad like they included for the bottom wheel. ... show more

I love this bike wall hook. Despite my skepticism from its plastic build, compared to similar models made of metal, this is a surprisingly sturdy and well-made bike mount. The swivel mechanism is secure and just loose enough to allow pivoting without freely swinging. The hook also has good tension on it and a restricted range of motion, preventing it from folding and allowing you to easily lift and hook your bike tire without struggling over it. The drywall mounts are not the best, so definitely recommend drilling directly into a stud for support. Overall, it works well to support the weight of my mountain bike and looks great in the garage! ... show more

I just got a new electric bike which I love, but it is too heavy for the bike mount I previously used. It weighs about 50 lbs. I decided to get this bike mount for 2 reasons. One is that it can hold over 60 lbs and the other is the unique design to hang the bike and then turn it flush to the wall to save space. It was super easy to install and, once installed, super easy to mount the bike, turn it and be good to go! I ride my mountain bike 5 to 6 times per week, so I have given this mount kit some use before reviewing. I’ve been using it for a little over a week now and am very happy with it. Installation was easy. I chose to attach to the wall studs as I do not believe it would stand up to much use if installed in drywall (my mountain bike weighs around 30lbs or so, I believe). Once installed in a stud, it is very solid. - Packaged well and arrived quick. - Comes with good hardware, everything needed was in the box. - 2.3 inch wide MTB tire fits. - The lower piece works well to keep tire marks off the wall. - Lower piece holds rear tire well when you need to swivel the bike around or lay it up closer to the wall. - The black bolt head covers are a nice touch, makes for a clean and tasteful installation. - Rubberized hook is nice and seems durable. This bike mount is heavy duty and provides a great way to store your bike. Other mounts may not have a hinge, or will only swing one way, but with the design of this hook you can swing you bike both ways as needed. This is a great feature which allows for more options when installing the mount. The hook also provides plenty of room to fit our 700c and 26" mountain bike tires. I didn't have any issues with the included mounting hardware and the bikes are still on the wall. If you're not handy, make sure you read on how to install this properly and make sure you are installing into studs!
