These blinds are a great addition to automating older blinds. This is my 2nd set. I use the Alexa device to automatically open and close the blinds. If you’re wanting to upgrade your blinds to be connected, I recommend the blind tilt as an easy and cost effective upgrade versus buying a whole new set of smart blinds. ... show more

Good quality product, with a good and stable app. Was easy to connect a device to the app, create a routine and just forget about my blinds. Now they closed one hour after sunset and open as I set the schedule. I'll add more to other windows.

These are great! I have them set to close at sunset and open at sunrise. Every morning the blinds are already open when I come out into the living room and close at night so I have privacy inside the house. Bonus is the hub can control any IR remote control devices you have. I added the cable box, TV and candles and created a scene so it turns everything on or off with one button from the phone.     • Very cool gadget
Set up was a pain. Much more involved than other products by switch bot, like their famous curtain rod device. Once set up it is very nice to set automations and have your blinds open and close when you want them to. This has been a game changer to have all my blinds open to let sun in without having to walk around the house and open every single blind. I actually use my blinds now instead of just leaving them shut all day every day. My indoor plants love getting the sunlight and I use less power during the day with no need to use my lights as much with natural sunlight now shining through. One annoyance is that when they do spin the rod to open or shut the blinds, they make a clicking sound with each rotation. It almost sounds like they are breaking, but its just the friction of the piece squeeze the rod as it rotates it clockwise or counterclockwise. This is a small tradeoff for me to get the enjoyment of my blinds finally being retrofit for automations. ... show more

Nice programming. Hardly noticeable, Subtle appearance. bought 3 and They open and close on a schedule. As advertised. Note: Feel like idiot talking to a bot, so can’t comment on integration with alexa but it is available.
