Full disclosure: I am a paralyzed traveler. I need a carry-on that is rock solid in terms of functionality and durability. I’ve used this luggage extensively in the six months that I’ve owned it. My limited mobility makes me hard on my luggage. I bought this product to replace a very expensive Hartman carry on. I also a big T. Anthony fan/purchaser. I have high standards. I’m blown away by this item, especially given its v affordable price point. There is a lot of great to say about this luggage: First, it is perfectly designed in that there are two outside pockets that are perfect for carrying a billfold, cell phone, etc. They do not interfere with being able to open the luggage completely or partially in terms of accessing the main storage area. This is quite clever. Second, inside, it is super sturdy with an interior metal frame. The wheels are super solid and roll well with little resistance. Nice touches include a large dedicated pocket for dirty laundry and a separate toiletries pocket. U won’t need to pack a separate dop kit (saving space). The telescoping handle works well. If I had one improvement in the design, it would be to allow this handle to lock before full extension. I lock my luggage when I leave my hotel room. The zippers have holes at the end to facilitate this. I also like that the handle for carrying the luggage horizontally, is exceptionally strong and perfect for my lock so that I may store it under my bed to lock it to the bed frame. Last, I purchased mine in Royal Navy blue. I must say with the Swiss flag in red and white, it is stylish indeed! I very much look forward to packing it and loading it for my next adventure. You know when you're ready to travel and your old suitcase isn't going to make another trip? That's where I was when getting ready for my upcoming trip.. So where do you start shopping for new luggage? 1. Weight.. no extra weight 2. Space... lots of open area for everything. Easy to organize all of your items 3. Easy to move about...yes wheeles that turn on a dime 4. Meets airline size restrictions 5. Materials easy to keep clean, sturdy structural. Zippers are free moving no snags, I chose the blue, will be easy to spot among all the black in the airport. Yes, I could have shopped at local stores but the convenience of having it delivered, and knowing the return policy made this a no brainer. If it worked then I saved myself the time and trouble of dealing with traffic etc... if it didn't then I'd have to go out and return it while shopping for another. The price point of the luggage was better here on Amazon than it was a my local stores. Saved money..saved time..win win for me. I recently traveled using a hard side piece of luggage. Upon arrival in my stateroom and unpacking I noticed the case had received substantial damage to both top and bottom corners on one side.; three cracks in the suitcase. I debated buying a new piece of luggage for travel home but opted to buy a roll of duct tape to mend inside and out. Upon arriving home I researched many soft side expandable pieces of luggage and read hundreds of reviews. I chose this 25” piece in black because it had many positive reviews, was on sale at $40 less than same piece of luggage in several colors. I recieved this piece today and inspected it thoroughly. There was absolutely no visual damage. All the zippers worked with ease. Wheels rolled easily across both wood floors and area rugs. The telescoping handle raises to two positions but wish there was a third lower option. I’m 5’5” and the settings are a bit high for me to roll comfortably at my side; however, I can always pull it behind me. I can also easily maneuver along side me by simply holding the top handle that’s used for lifting. This seems to be well made and I feel sure I’ll get several years of service for travel. Best suitcase I have ever owned. No regrets purchasing this. I packed for one week and still had plenty of room in the suitcase. I love all of the different compartments on the inside and outside. The material and structure of the suitcase are high quality. I love the wheels. They make it easy to pull/push your suitcase with virtually no resistance. Rolling your suitcase alongside you is so much nicer than dragging it behind you on two wheels. The color is vibrant. Be forewarned that the lighter colors will show dirt more easily. I was able to spot clean the outside of the suitcase with mild dish soap and water after my vacation. The only thing I'm concerned about is the handle. You can easily raise it and lower it, but it doesn't feel very stable when the handle is all the way up. We will see how it holds up over time. I have had this for almost 3 years now, and this has held up great! I travel for work 100% of the time, multiple flights every week, 49 weeks of the year, and it still looks great. It usually goes on the plane with me but it has been check a handful of times for various reasons and has held up with that also. I am very pleased with this, when I got it, I planned for it to last a year, however it is holding up so well that I don’t have plans to replace it yet. Only thing I had to do was put some lock tite on the handle screws as they would back out but since then all good. It has great carrying capacity, is sturdy, (my dog travels with me about 40% of the time and he goes on top in his carrier for going through the airport). It has fit in all overhead bins on the planes I fly on (Delta exclusively) fits even on the CRJ 900 overhead bins if you don’t stuff it full/need to open the expandable zipper. When this one goes out, I will probably buy the same one again. Very hard to find luggage that stands up to the use a road warrior puts it through (my colleagues have gone through a few), without spending an arm and a leg, this is definitely a great buy at this price. ... show more
