We typically purchase a large tarp cover for a single season use. After installing it, I feel it should give me a second season maybe more. As long as you pump water off and don’t let it accumulate more than several inches you’re fine. This is what got me in the past and from the weight caused rips. I have no complaints with this cover and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a loop lock. Plus you get sparkling clean water when you open. It's day 33 and we've had our first rain last night. Cover ripped with less than gallon of water weight on it. I've used the same rope set up for 5 years and never had a cover rip. I should have just purchased the same one I had previously, but was trying to save a buck. What a waste or time and money. I'd give it zero stars if I could. ... show more

If you have an above ground pool near trees, you definitely want this for the fall. Instead of scooping leaves out over your cover you just pull this off and put it right back on. It does take two people one on each side of the pool, walking it to the opposite edge and the leaves will dump out on the grass and you just pull it right back over the pool. Easy to put on pool. 24 foot round size ordered fit perfectly with enough extra hand over on sides of pool as the seller described. I love the silver color- I noticed I get less birds attracted to this bright silver than the dark covers.
