We typically purchase a large tarp cover for a single season use. After installing it, I feel it should give me a second season maybe more. As long as you pump water off and don’t let it accumulate more than several inches you’re fine. This is what got me in the past and from the weight caused rips. I have no complaints with this cover and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a loop lock. Plus you get sparkling clean water when you open. Revised Text: This pool cover is easy to install. It is thin and designed to be used for just one season after being removed following the long winter months. Once taken off, it no longer serves its purpose due to weather degradation of the material. I purchased this in July 2023. It was put on in sept of 2023. I took it off April 2024. As you can see the cover did not even last one winter in NC. FYI We didn’t have any snow this year and the winter was mild. Not a Quality item. Update 5/13. I am within the year warranty. The company is wanting me to pay to have a new cover sent to me. Or I can send the product back to them. Which I am sure I will have to pay for. Update. 5/15. Warranty states “any return of merchandise under the terms of the warranty must be authorized in advance and be returned freight prepaid”. Nothing states the customer pays however after a phone call they mean the customer pays. This is only putting more money into a product that didn’t last one full mild winter. I do not recommend this company nor this product. Their own paperwork’s is vague and they will not replace the item for their poor quality without more money. ... show more

If you have an above ground pool near trees, you definitely want this for the fall. Instead of scooping leaves out over your cover you just pull this off and put it right back on. It does take two people one on each side of the pool, walking it to the opposite edge and the leaves will dump out on the grass and you just pull it right back over the pool. Just took the cover out to put it on my pool for the “winter” here in FL. First thing I see in the package is a sheet with all the exclusions for the warranty. These include “small hole worn in the cover around the railing”, “missing grommets or grommets pulling out”, “holes or rips in cover around coping or rail”, binding pulled off or grommets pulled out”. So what else is there that a warranty would cover. Any company that goes to this length of exclusions tells me this cover is going to be a POS. ... show more
