Am I glad I got these plates! I can’t rave enough about the quality of the plates. Cleaning is a cinch because the food just slides off. Love the neutral colors & the modern design. As you can see in my photo, we purchased 18 of the 7.4 inch side dishes, 12 dinner size dishes, and 12 bowls. We have been using them every day for 4 months. What we love about the dinner and side dishes is that the rim is on the edge of the plates, letting one fill up the dish with more food if desired. We have used some of these dishes in the microwave for up to 2 minutes. They survive just fine. So far, none of them have chipped. We love the variety of colors, and usually just set the table with whatever colors are randomly on the top. We also love the way that these dishes nest together so compactly, using minimal vertical space. These dishes fit fine in our 1 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. But be aware that some dishwashers may have a problem with the wider raised rim. When we bought our dishwasher last year, I read in particular that an upscale German dishwasher that starts with the letter "B" has less distance between their tongs that hold dishes in place than do most dishwasher brands. But I think that these dishes will fit in most dishwasher brands. Just something to think about. My only negative is that I wish the shapes of the bowls were designed a little differently so that they nested together more compactly, using less vertical space. The thing I like most about these plates is the quick-curved lip. I've grown to liking this style of plates over more traditional ones that have a long sloping taper. The reason is, the quick curved lip allows full use of the plate surface, and utensils rest nicely on the edge without sliding down, out, over or off. The colors are nice, although my set seemed to come with two that were very similar (I got the multi-color set). Not a huge issue, but if I wanted matching colors, I wouldn't have gotten the multi-color set haha. ... show more
