Description

Commutes can be tough. But the EB5 PLUS foldable eBike is tougher. Reinforced with premium craftsmanship, a powerful motor, and a long-lasting removable battery, the EB5 PLUS takes your everyday commute from tedious to terrific. More fun. Less hassle. In other words — better. Combining a robust 250-watt motor and the ability to pedal, the EB5 PLUS is the modern-day commuter’s dream. Cruise up to 15.5 miles on a single charge. Reach top speeds of 15mph. Conquer steep hills and 30-degree inclines with ease. EB5 PLUS also works like a traditional pedal bike, letting you pedal when you want to get your heart pumping. With pedaling, your range and top speeds aren’t limited by motor or battery life. Need to take a breather? Go full-throttle or activate pedal-to- go mode and get an electric assist from the motor. Stop worrying about staying juiced during extended commutes. Grab an extra battery and swap out the depleted battery with a fresh one whenever you need to keep the adventure going. The EB5 PLUS battery can be charged when it’s attached to or separated from the bike. And the quick-charge UL-compliant battery tops off fully in 4-5 hours. You’ll spend more time on the go and less time tethered to an outlet. It’s undeniable that the EB5 PLUS looks great. Premium build quality. Sleek, eye-catching design. Streamlined and aerodynamic. But as good as it looks, the EB5 PLUS performs even better. We’ve constructed the frame using ultra-durable materials that can support riders up to 264 pounds. And its 14-inch air-filled tires are made from high-performance rubber that delivers a smooth, stable ride, even on uneven pavement. But it’s not just about go-Go-GO. Stopping power is just as important and the EB5 PLUS has stopping power you can rely on. Dual-disc V-brakes are calibrated to handle fast speeds with reliable accuracy. Adjust the response time if you need to make the faster and tighter — all without tedious tools. Our “Autoguard” technology automatically disengages the motor as soon as you hit the brakes. Even if you’re holding down the throttle and a surprise obstacle comes in view, you have the immediate brake response you’ll need. Other eBikes for adults and teens are hefty, hulking beasts that are difficult to manage. But not the EB5 PLUS. This electric bike folds quickly for easy storage and portability. Simply collapse the stem, flip down the pedals and fold the frame and you easily fit the EB5 PLUS in tight spaces, like under your desk or in the trunk of a compact car. And with its upgraded magnetic locking mechanism, once the EB5 PLUS is folded, it’ll stay folded in place until you’re ready to release it. And its integrated carrying handle makes the EB5 PLUS easier to carry with you when you need to. Grab adventure by the handlebars and change the way you get around with the EB5 PLUS folding electric bike from SWAGTRON. Your city awaits.

  • This bike is great!
Color: White Size: 58cm/Medium
Caveat is that I have bought two of these. A black for myself and a white for my wife. I'll start with pros and cons: Pros: It's simple, a single speed so you dont have to worry if the chain comes off. (hasn't happened to me) It's zippy, I used it to get around campus (University of Texas) and the throttle is very responsive. I can speed or cruise on throttle when I'm in a crowd. The brakes work great for navigating). I have two cars but working on campus it's easier to just take the bus in and do the last mile on it and fold it up and tuck it back in storage. Where I work you have to pay for parking and then have to do that last mile anyway. with my UT id I ride the bus for free so this save me a lot of money. It's not flimsy. You can jump off my curbs with no problems. don't plan on this being an off road bike. It's strictly street and side walk riding. It's just fun. I have a Camp Scrambler from Juiced that is a lot more high end but more for trail riding and doing heaving riding. It's faster. (This bike clocks in at about 16 mph without pedal assist while my Scambler does 30 and acccomadates 2 people 16 mph per hour is more than fast enough to run to the store real quick and you are doing faster than a normal bike. I live about half a mile from the grocery and can do the ride in less than five minutes. I've raced my bike from the store with my wife and beat her. Depending on where you live, this fits perfect on a bus bike rack. It's not a pain to carry it in on the bus but with Austin Capitol Metro it fits snug on the rack. It's almost like they bought racks for small bikes. Con's Pedal assist. There is only one mode for it. When the power is on and you pedal it just jumps. There is no level to start off slow. You jump the moment you start pedaling. I personally use throttle only and then pedal up hills which is super easy. I live in the NW hills and use pedaling for the hills quite a bit. Impossible to pedal whitout whihout the power on. I've seen a few reviews on this that have said that. If you lift the handle bars to high it puts stress on the brakes because of the cabling. If you can ride a kind of low rider bike it works perfect. I'm 5'll and keep everything (seat and handlebars kind of low. It's almost for me like riding a large kids bike. It actaullt makes it fun because it is very manuevarble. No other cons. It doesn't have anything special on it. A power button. No trip o meter or data type things. Just a simple 4 bar power switch. Form what I've heard it's not recommended to ride in the rain.It comes with no lights but you can buy those off Amazon for 8 bucks that work perfect and if anyone is interested pm me and I can link the lights I bought for my pair. Total cost for lights were 7.98 for a pair and 22 for the batteries that will probably last a year plus. ... show more

  • Great e-Bike For The Money
Color: Black Size: 58cm/Medium
Bought it in Oct 2020, after 7 months and 500 miles I can say it is well worth the money. Here are the good, bad and ugly. The bad: 1. Came without any owner's manual, assembly instructions or tools. Fortunately, assembly was easy and no special tools needed. 2. The tires came inflated only to about 10 psi and if I rode without pumping them up, I would have gotten a flat tire or blown inner tube. I keep the tires at 50-60 psi all the time and after 500 miles, they still look like new. 3. The brakes came locked to the rims, made it very difficult to paddle without using power. I had to adjust the brakes before I could paddle without power assist. 4. The crank came loose the first time I rode (same problem as another reviewer, see picture from him). Tightening the lock nut didn't work. I finally figured the crank is attached to the hub via friction fit and I used a big hammer to hammer it tight, then tightened the nut. No more loose crank since. All those were problems encountered by lots of reviewers who gave the product a 1 star. If I didn't know how to fix them I would give it a 1 star too. The good: 1. The battery gave me the range they advertised and after 7 months of use, they battery still holds charges well. With lithium ion, you have to make sure to avoid full discharge and when not in use still keep it near fully charged or battery will die prematurely. 2. At 37 lb, it is the lightest entry level e-bike. I could easily paddle without power around town. 3. The quality of the materials are good. After 500 miles, everything is holding up extremely well. 4. The design is quite impressive for its intended use and for the price. 5. The price is a bargain for an e-bike. The ugly: 1. With small 14" rim and 60 psi tire pressure the ride is extremely harsh. 2. With only a single speed, the power assist is useless. When I needed power I used the throttle and rode it as a scooter. 3. Paddling it without power assist, I often wished it had a derailleur and multiple speeds. I give it a 5 star because of the value for the money, light weight, fun to ride, quality materials and its reliability (after initial quality control problems were fixed). ... show more

  • Sadly, Big Disappointment
Color: Black Size: 58cm/Medium
In the 10 days I had it, and a couple of enjoying rides in, the rear tire went flat. The front air receptor (pic no pump) is different from the back by the way it's angled, the ease to access with air pump and the lack of a base to the receptor so there is a gap to the side of it (pic with pump). I even let out the air to see if base dug deeper in tire but no go. I will be returning b/c this just shouldn't happen so quickly and based on other negative reviews stating what a hassle it is to get rear tire replaced. Please note back tire's rim and wire connections is vastly different from the front tire. You will need a special pro pump and a pro for replacement. Update: I decided to contact Swagtron directly because I was hoping that they would have local trusted service repair providers based on something stated on their website for another product. However, when I mentioned that I just had a defective tire they said I would still have to ship across country. I did a online estimate on ground shipping cost which would be $138. This would have to be paid every time there is a issue as well as weeks of turn time. They said based on warranty, they could ship out the part but can't provide directions on repair. But again, the rear tire is part of the motor hub and really does need professional tools. I thought I would luck out but no. This was perfect before this and now I wish I never tried it out so it wouldn't be such a disappointed. ... show more
