I purchased the faja after having a tummy tuck. I originally purchased a large and loved how the rubber around the shorts part didn't ride up. Now that the swelling has gone down, I purchased a medium and it is so comfortable, even when I'm sleeping. I can make the faja tighter with the three levels of the little hooks. The only part I wish was a little different is the area that's open between your legs to go to the bathroom. I wish the opening came up a little more towards the front.     • Post-Tummy Tuck Review
This garment will most definitely hold things in place after tummy-tuck surgery, as has been commented on by many ladies on YouTube. HOWEVER, two things I want to point out. First, if using this garment for post-tummy tuck, buy at least TWO (maybe three) sizes up. I am a size 8 in jeans and required an XL in this garment after surgery. Reason being is that you will have much fluid retention post surgery, which means you WILL need the extra room to accommodate for the fluid retention. Second, if NOT buying this garment for post-tummy tuck use (regular use), then buying true-to-your-size will definitely fit very, very firm. Again, I am a size 8 in jeans (5’8” height) and a Medium in this garment fit VERY firm. In fact, it was challenging to put on, tbh. Expect to feel super-tight, and uncomfortable until you are used to it. This garment is NOT for the faint of heart. Also, use some common sense and do not eat anything heavy while wearing this garment. Best to not eat at all, or drink only when utilizing this garment. UPDATE: Now that I am 5-weeks Post-Tummy-Tuck surgery, the healing is moving along well, which means that I had to buy a SMALLER Faja to size down. Expect to lose all the fluid retention and and swelling post-surgery. The XL I originally purchased had become uncomfortable due to being too large, so I ordered the next size down (Large). In fact, now that I am wearing a Large size Faja, I can see that in a few weeks I may need to go down even further to a size Medium. The loss of fluid and swelling between the day of surgery and several weeks out is significant, so you will need to plan on purchasing a few sized Fajas. Also, there is one thing I think women need to know. The zipper located below, as well placed as it is, is NOT LONG ENOUGH to accomodate using the bathroom. In order to urinate, you will definitely have to pull the fabric forward a bit to make sure you do not urinate on the fabric. To put it directly, the zipper needs to be longer in the front to accomodate a woman's need to urinate. Aside from this, the garment performs quite well. ... show more

    • Amazing product with only a couple critiques
This product was almost perfect. It's really flattering on the booty. There is no padding - it just excentuates what you already have very nicely. But the abdomen area doesn't "snatch" the waist as much as I had hoped. It seems you need to get a size smaller than your normal size because the high end range on the sizing chart is how it fits. If I had time before my big event, I would've exchanged it for a smaller size, but itll have to do for now. 😔 The crotch zipper is correctly and conveniently placed on mine - so no issues there either. The length of the torso is perfect! I have a long torso, so finding corsets that actually fit lengthwise is a difficult task, but the torso on this is truly the Columbian style with a long enough torso to meet right at my under-bra line. Love it! But, last, as others have said, unfortunately, the zipper on the torso does leave a little evidence (an outline) that you are wearing a shaper with even moderately tught clothing/dresses (especially under my white dress). Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. Next time though, I may try out the one with the zipper off-centered to the side and will definitely be getting a smaller one that is just a size smaller than the one suggested on the site for my measurements. The site recommended a size large for me, however, I think the size medium would have fit better to really snatch up my mommy fat for a more flattering fit. That's this girls review. I'm a 14 regular or plus and fit me perfectly. If possible would be nice if lifted my rear. So I need to wear a thong to give me lift. Good to tuck in the belly. Very comfortable like I don't notice I'm even wearing it.

I'm 5'7, 152lbs, 10-12 in clothes, 38-31-41 and the Medium was good for me. I don't think the size chart takes into account that it is a compression garment. I ordered a Large and had to return it because it 'FIT' - Not snug, not tight, it fit like shorts. The Medium was much better - got it all shaped without mushrooming. Now you still need to be honest with yourself on sizing. This is a garment that takes all your stuff and shapes it smooth and where it should be - It will NOT make it disappear! Ordering a small does NOT make YOU a small. YES other reviewers I'm talking to you! The zippers are strong and well made so if you are bustin' zippers... your expectations were unreasonable. Only in childbirth can you squeeze a basketball through a gardenhose - and you know how that turns out for the gardenhose. The connector in front does bulge out a tiny bit but it wasn't noticeable in my white dress. I did not make use of the zippers at the bottom. ... show more
