I was suspicious about this heater at first because it was cheap, and some reviews claimed it had various issues from overheating to tipping over. Still decided to grab one and I don’t regret it at all. The manual is pretty useless when it comes to assembling it, but it comes down to simply turning it over (keep the foam protective cap on it for stability), aligning the base with two round notches on the heater bottom (the base is really heavy!) and screwing in 4 long bolts. Then turn it over and put it on its base. The whole thing is very heavy because it’s made of solid steel, but very stable at the same time thanks to the wide and heavy base. There are only a few plastic parts, specifically the bottom “chrome” trim of the heater and the top control panel. I’d rather prefer to have it all metal and all black. Once you have assembled it, do not forget to remove black foam retainers from the front grille that protect the heating tube, otherwise you’ll burn them and render the heater useless. Next, flip the top main switch to ON and press the power button on the front to get instant heat. It heats up in seconds and has 3 heat settings (P1 - 500W, P2 - 1000W, P3 - 1500W). You also have an option to set an off timer from 1h to 24h, which is handy. The heat output and outstanding and easily heats up a medium-sized room 300-400 sqft easily. I ended up using it indoors rather than because it looks good, it works perfectly, and it’s absolutely silent compared to my other forced air heaters. The remotes are great too, but I don't really use them. End to end, I’m really happy with this heater and I highly recommend it. The only issue is that it’s super heavy-duty and very heavy, my wife can’t really move it about and have to ask me to help her :). *** TL;DR *** Despite initial doubts due to mixed reviews, the affordable heater surpassed expectations. It’s a really heavy-duty appliance, made of steel with only a few plastic details. Quick heat-up with 3 settings effectively warms a medium-sized room. Silent operation and efficient functionality make it perfect for indoor use, and IPX4 weatherproofing rating allows using it outdoors. Remotes make it even more user-friendly. Overall, highly recommended, though its weight might pose a challenge for moving it around.     • Order the product twice came broke both times
The product arrived the box was fine it was triple boxed it was surrounded by styrofoam but the glass tube in the Middle where the copper wire goes through was cracked. Figured it was a fluke send it back ordered replacement came with the same problem

Opened the giant box to reveal a repackaged heater. It did operate manually only in the high 1500 watt setting. Came with 2 remotes neither worked. Heat output seamed good.

This heater works fine and is very simple and straightforward to control. However, I did dock one star just because there were zero assembly instructions. That being said, my husband was able to put it together just by guessing. There is no noise at all which is nice.

Let me start by saying that what is indicated on the product website is what is delivered. This is an outside water-resistant heater that delivers heat in three different ranges and can be controlled with a remote control. My only issues that prevent me from giving a higher rating are related to the lack of printed information with respect to installation. The product does include a printed operations manual with the product, but nothing is provided for installation. For that you'll need to look at the last of the four videos on the product information page and that too is missing something critical and thus this warning. Those four black flat flaps that look like heat deflectors on the front are foam shipping pieces. There is no mention anywhere to remove them and they don't belong there when you power up. I thought they were heat deflectors, so I plugged in the unit after following the video installation steps and started a small fire when I first turned it on. You need to pull out and remove those foam units, they are not part of the operational heater system. Another caution for you is that it takes two people as shown in the video to attach the base. One person needs to hold the heater while the other aligns the holes and screws the base to the heater. If you are by yourself, don't try putting the base on horizontally. Those silver holes on the base whose functions it is to help you align the heater to the screw holes are made of silver metal looking plastic. If you try to put the base on vertically you may find that the base weight is too heavy for the plastic nobs which may then shear off the base and splatter on the floor in many pieces. An alternative for attaching the heater to the base if you are by yourself is to sit down on a chair and place the heater between your legs for stability while you attach the base. ... show more
