A surprise bonus that I did not even think of, when it is sitting it just looks like a composition book, not an expensive iPad. Could provide a level of security when you have it in public. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about are the grooves that allow you to sit the iPad at an angle for viewing are just not quite deep enough for me. They work but if you barely bump it the iPad will slip and fall flat. It’s not a deal breaker, I would still highly recommend this cover and the grooves still work, I’ve just had better. I absolutely love this case! The color is between a pink and red, the pencil holder keeps my Apple Pencil perfectly. It does cause the screen to sleep and wake with opening/closing. It has the grooves to prop up the iPad and hitch comes in handy. It does however cause my screen protector to bubble up at the corners but I’m willing to overlook that because it is adorable and it securely protects my iPad.
