I ordered this for my extra large cat. He’s a manx and is long and tall and about 18 pounds so the standard carriers are often too small for him. This one is a great size tho. It’s also collapsible. It comes with poles you have to use for it to be stable so when it comes to the “collapsible” aspect, it’s not an easy put together and put away IF you intend to store it collapsed. But it is a great size, and I like the quality of it, too. It has a shoulder strap and a removable mat that is also reversible. It’s a very nice carrier. Although it was an inch too big all the way around Delta excepted it as a carry on! I did however have to take the top bars out to fit it under the seat, if you are first class or have more room under seats that shouldn’t be an issue. First time my dog has ever flown and she did great! I had to purchase this one last minute because she was too big for the first one and it came super fast thank god! Easy to put together and take apart also easy to clean, and I was pleasantly surprised all the straps held up even with my pup being heavier than the recommended weight! Pad is not thick, very small padding for such a big carrier. Assembly is easy, but the poles that you put in the slots to fill the carrier out constantly comes out. I would only buy again for the size.
