Okay, only one of them is a fat fat at almost 20lbs. The other comes in around 12. Fabric and construction appear to be good quantity. If I come back here ranting, you’ll know something failed quickly. Our usage is a cross country move. We have an extra long container for them with food and cat litter to fit the back of our car, but we wanted another to travel to the hotel room. A double helps for the few hotels that set a random limit that is problematic or charge $100 for each pet because the pet isn’t done by $100 more worth of anything for a single night passing through and of course there’s little if any competition among hotels that take cats so we don’t really have options. The metal frame reinforcement seems sturdy but it is TOUGH to connect. I’m not weak but I struggled a bit. Once together, it held the two cats with no issue for the trip to the vet. The bag collapses down nicely so we can pack it away until it’s time to transfer the cats. I don’t look forward to assembling every night on our 7 day trip, but I’d prefer it not fail. I can think of a few methods that would be an easier assembly but it works and that’s what matters to me. ***update 9/21/2023 - post cross country move*** This was used to transport our cats from their “houses” in the back of my vehicle to the hotel rooms. It worked great and the setup became easier as the connections were used. The first setup I struggled but the last set up was extremely easy getting the metal bars to connect. We did have one metal link spring apart on the strap, but I think that’s because I’m strong and it got stuck on something. I was able to bend it back in place. That was the only issue I had and this thing was amazing for transporting the heavy cats. ... show more

Great carrier for my very large (21 lbs) cat! Lots of ventilation (nice, sturdy zippered side and top screens ) and plenty of room for kitty to move around. Easy to use, sturdy, safe and a great looking carrier. Exceptional quality and value for the money. My cat normally hates his carriers, but he loves this one! In fact, he voluntarily seeks it out and likes to sleep in it at home, when we aren’t traveling long distances in the car (or going to the V-e-t 😃❤️🐈⬛). ... show more

Love this bag. It's huge and very sturdy. Brought my 2 cats to the vet today. 12 pounds and 19 pounds. They fit comfortably. Only drawback for me is I'm 5 feet tall so the bag is literally half my size! I needed to use the shoulder strap instead of the hand straps to carry them and the rings buckled under their combined weight. I think I need wheels on it for me to get them between house, car, vet office more easily. But I'm sure my son who is 6 feet can carry it with ease by the hand straps. Still a great bag. Just keep that part in mind if you're vertically challenged like me. ... show more

I bought these because because the typical hard sides carrier was stressing out my cats. I also bought the large size even though my cats are only 9-10 lbs each. BUT, allowing them to have their own space helps alleviate stress. I know use them as fun places for the cats to hang. The only thing is that the bottom doesn't have the best support. Great quality carrier for a heavier cat. I had purchased a size L in another brand that said it would accommodate up to 20 lb but was not quite large enough. This carrier was perfect for him and was easy for me to get him in and out.
