Description

The Superlift High Clearance Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit provides the perfect bolt-on steering solution for today’s lifted pickup trucks with a design that mounts in-line, above the steering linkage, for maximum clearance from rocks and other hazards. Engineered for trucks with a minimum of 2.50” of suspension lift, the system allows for the addition of dual steering stabilizers yielding more controlled steering input over any terrain while dampening annoying “shimmy” and virtually eliminating bump steer, especially when equipped with larger tires. This dual steering stabilizer system features standard Superlift Shadow Series shock absorbers for an exceptional ride and maximum control on or off-road. For advanced off-road capability, opt for the available Bilstein 5100 monotube shocks. With their zinc-plated housing and digressive valving, they provide an advanced level of performance by adapting quickly to changing conditions. No matter which shocks you choose, your Superlift kit has everything you need for an easy, bolt-on installation and the confidence of Superlift’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

  • Works well!
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Dual Stabilizer Configuration: Bilstein Cylinders
My boyfriend put it on in less than an hour without a lift. Looks great! Helped with the overall control and stability of my lifted Jeep. My lift is 4” with Fox shocks.

  • Poor instructions
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Dual Stabilizer Configuration: Shadow Cylinders
Great kit. Poor instructions. It was a shame I had to find instructions and a video from their competitor. Literally the worst instructions I have ever seen. How hard would it be for them to actually have a video and link ? Would be less expensive than printing the instructions included.

  • Works great, looks great, but.....
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Stabilizer Configuration: Bilstein Cylinders
Great product, very well made. Would buy again. One small criticism though- the instructions are written as if this is part of the associated lift kit, so I ended up searching for a bolt that I already had. Not exactly clear. Also, you need to push out one bushing on the shock and insert the new one provided. No big deal, but it would have been helpful and saved a phone call if they mentioned that in the instructions! ... show more

  • Directions are bad torque specs are incorrect
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Dual Stabilizer Configuration: Shadow Cylinders
Update* I contacted the supplier they said the directions are incorrect and they are sending me new bushings.. bolt/nut should be snug tight. Probably around 40#. Original message: Directions say to torque the shock bolt/ nut to 70 #’s this will crush the bushing and the metal sleeve! This is a horrible oversight. I hope to get a replacement bushings and Sleeves. Both sides crushed. Not sure why? Is the torque specs in the direction incorrect or is the metal too soft. ... show more

  • Description
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Stabilizer Configuration: Bilstein Cylinders
The stabilizer seems to be well built. I very seldom have difficulty doing an install on my Jeep. This took some time to install. Didn't plan on pressing out an already installed bushing that had to be replaced with a different one, which was not in the instructions. Also the shoulder nuts supplied for the 3/8" U-bolts were not the right size. I had the right ones in my stock. I knew this wasn't correct when I ordered but in the description it says : Durable white enamel finish and 2 Cylinders/Mounting. You will get one silver stabilizer. After all this I will give it a 4 star. I will re-evaluate after I get some highway and offroad miles on it. ... show more

  • Do not buy…!!!
Style: 2007 - 2018 JK / JKU Size: Stabilizer Configuration: Bilstein Cylinders
That picture is of the bushing that is totally destroyed by trying to remove the metal sleeve so that the steering stabilizer can be installed. Prior to this pic I called SuperLift tech support and Luke told me that that metal sleeve would push out very easily. It looks like it’s actually glued in so by trying to push it out it tore the actual bushing. If a company is going to sell a kit for a specific product, they should make sure that the consumer does not have to go through this. They should supply a steering stabilizer without the metal sleeve if the metal sleeve is not needed. Now it’s up to me to find a bushing replacement, while my vehicle is still not drivable. ... show more
