  • Legit
Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I just grinded the shaft and sprayed on pb blaster. Followed directions and fan came right off. Effortless and totally worth the price to skip the aggravation of trying some backyard bull crap to remove the fan from motor.

  • 5 years later!
Never left a review for this since I purchased it 5 years ago. This legit is a lifesaver! I pull at least 2 motors weekly. Notice some of prior reviews had issue with the bolts but that never happened to me. No electric bolting, just hand tightened. This is a must have for all repair and replace techs! Don’t be the fool who is hammering in front of homeowners like a rookie ... show more

  • Makes replacing HVAC blower motor quick and simple
My blower motor for the HVAC unit had a bearing go bad. Had to replace the motor. This hub puller made the job quick and simple. Item was extremely well made, very stout and heavy. Never attempt to pound the motor out with a drift, as you may damage the end of the motor shaft mushrooming it which will make getting the wheel off the motor a nightmare. You should only use a hub puller. This one did the job. For me Amazon had same day delivery which was great as the temperatures outside was in the 90's.... ... show more

  • Works, Made for the HVAC PRO.
After trying for days to get a fan blade off a fan motor shaft, I ordered this to help. I had already hit the shaft with about three different kinds of penetrating oil. Hammered and twisted on it with wrenches. The fan motor from my heat pump was original, about 14 years old. I finally, cut the shaft of the motor flush with the motor body. I mounted the puller on top in line with the shaft. I was only able to move the shaft about one-half inch out of the fan collar. It's a difficult process for one person, it requires the use of two wrenches. I finally used different drill bits and drilled half of the remaining shaft out. Then used a Galvanized bolt and knocked the remaining shaft off the fan. The puller is well made and strong, and will probably work in most cases . Made for the pro, not the DIY homeowner. ... show more

  • Works Great. Instructions could be better
The puller worked perfectly once I figured out the correct way to use it. The instructions were okay but I recommend watching a few YouTube videos. The ones I watched actually used this exact brand and provided some very helpful tips to make the fan blade removal straight forward and relatively easy. I don't know that I will ever have a need for this tool again but it was well worth the investment versus using some of the other methods I saw on the internet that I felt might cause one to risk life and limb. ... show more

  • Works great!
Tired of fighting fans you're trying to get off and old motor? 1-Buy 1 of these 2- clean the shaft off with whatever abrasive you have 3- give it a shot of your favorite penetrating oil. 4- this will push the shaft out with ease and you're good to go. Comes with several different ways to use

  • Most expensive but poor quality
I bought this brand because they are supposed to be high quality but the inner shell is completely off level causing my puller shaft to be waaaay off center. How am I supposed to use this right. Posted pics. What a joke. The most annoying part about it is that you can see that it’s off balance because they welded it that way but instead of fixing it or junking it they sent it to their customer (me and others based off the other reviews) anyways intentionally sending junk to their paying customers. ... show more
