I purchased the 4" variety. It arrived quickly. It was in an envelope which makes me wary as I've had other metal tools tear through and get lost in transit. I used it to pull several bearings today. It worked well. I like that you can slide an arm off as needed as it allowed me to install into a tight space. The grip surface of the two arms are not quite even. They appear to be 0.020-0.030" different and as a result, the puller sits slightly off axis to the shaft it's sitting on. ... show more

I used this because it was cheaper and took up less room than a shop press. Worked great for replacing the transfer case front output bearing and seal on my Land Cruiser.

This only opens opens up to 8 1/4” . I ordered this to remove a flywheel on a Briggs Intek engine and it would not work. I even tried it today on a smaller Tecumseh engine. NOPE!!!!! False advertising as usual for Amazon products. Nothing is what it says it is. Fat free isnt fat free,
