  • Solid Case at a fair price
Color: Blue
I took a gamble on this case for an aging phone that I just replaced the glass and screen on. Overall, I'm more then satisfied with durability and fit. My Note 9 has gone through 2 otter box and one basic oem Samsung case. This one is on the level of otter box, if not slightly better in my opinion. The clear screen protector is working well, but is getting a bit scratched up over the past month Ive had it installed. To be expected to some degree. Overall, worth the purchase at 20 or so dollars. ... show more

  • Great case to protect your phone
Color: White
I love these products for how well they protect my phone. This is my 4th one. It does what its supposed to, which is protect my phone from drops and spills. The case itself takes the damage and for the price, its well worth it to for me to buy a new case as needed. The only issue I run into is the kickstands are very easy to break. I continue to use the case though as its a "nice-to-have" and not necessary. PRO: I think the value is the best thing. I've had more expensive brand name phone cases famous for taking heavy damage, and I feel like this one is on par with that, but with a slimmer profile and lower price. CON: Marked durability down on my review due to the kickstand getting broken so ridiculously easily, but I feel like this case does exactly what I need it to by absorbing the damage so my phone doesn't, and its a good tradeoff for me. Easy to install and replace, and each of my cases has taken a lot of damage (screens get scratched, corners have cracks, kickstands broken), but the phone inside has remained in pristine condition. Buttons are easy to press, the headphone jack and power input covers press into place easily. Screen protector works great, but may collect a little dirt and lint thats hard to get out from the corners. I've had each case anywhere from 6-12 months. There is no cover for the fingerprint scanner or camera lens/flashlight, just a beveled opening so you can use them. I'm a happy customer, and will keep buying as long as I have this phone. ... show more

  • Very rugged, the screen protector works well with screen sensitivity, a perfect rugged case
Color: Black
Right off the bat: Works with all of my wireless chargers the screen protector does not affect touch sensitivity, both with fingers and S-Pen Longer version: If you are looking for a rugged case WITH A BUILT IN SCREEN PROTECTOR for the Note 9, this is the only good option I could find. The touch screen sensitivity is not affected by the screen protector, as it sometimes is with these thin plastic film protectors on similar rugged cases. I expect that the screen protector will probably develop little scratches over time. This is totally expected. Its just a thin plastic film. It would be ridiculous to expect a scratch resistant screen protector, both at this price and given the specified method of construction (plastic, not glass)! Everything appears well built. The belt holster is a nice add on. The belt holster does not snap open to function like a kickstand, as some other similarly designed cases do, because the case itself does that. Full disclosure I have not thoroughly tested the belt holster. It seems fine to me, although I can't say for sure if its going to hold up to high impact use cases like running, aggressive hiking, or some kind of construction work involving a lot of physical body movement and impact. The kickstand itself is pretty well built and I have not encountered any issues with it. The biggest complaint I have is that the kickstand causes the case to be relatively rigid along the back central area, which means that when you put the case together or take it apart, you cannot bend or fold the flexible rubber or silicone which means that its slightly more difficult to remove the case than some comparable rugged cases I have used in the past. Be aware, however, that if you have smaller hands or possibly struggle with finger strength, that you might find a bit of difficulty opening this thing. Not saying you won't be able to open it. But instead of requiring, lets say 10 or 20 seconds, it might require 30 or 40 seconds. Instead of being able to do it 100% with your fingers and fingernails, you might have to use something flat and pointy like a thin coin (like a dime, but not a nickel), a credit card (ideally a metal credit card), or some other relatively rigid, thin, item. The instruction manual suggests using a coin, but I think a credit card is probably a better option. NOTE: there is no possiblity of scratching the phone during the process. its just that the rubber case is somewhat rigid and you kind of have to pry it back in order to extricate the edges and corners. The phone is not exposed in a way that would allow you to accidentally damage it during this process. This is not a big deal for me though. The only reason this is even an issue is that I sometimes remove my SD card and swap it out between devices. If you do not plan to remove your SD or SIM card regularly, then I suggest just leaving the case on and use a wireless charger. This works with all of my wireless charges. Choetech 3 coil, another Cheap no-name Amazon 2-coil fast chargers, as well as that namebrand samsung 2-pad charger that was bundled with the Note 9 from some retailers. All work 100% perfectly. And on a side note, you can use the wireless charger with the Note 9 without heating the thing up until its blazing hot and ruining the battery. That is a final point: Often, with rugged cases, when you fast-charge the device heats up because its effectively inside of a heavily insulated wrapping (The rubber case). I have not experienced that issue with my Note 9 in this Supcase case. At best, it gets slightly warm with ambient temperature in the low 70s F on fast charge wired or wireless. Brand new, the flap that covers the USB-C port is still very rigid and not yet very flexible. It will probably require a few weeks to loosen up. New, It is rigid enough to push down on some, probably cheap, USB-C connectors and cause them to sit at a very slight angle. if you are concerned about the longevity of your USB port, you might want to proactively flex or stretch the flap to loosen it up. This is just me being absolutely thorough with my experience. It may also be that the wire I was using was garbage and was loose to begin with. Works very well with drops, although I still recommend being careful and try to develop your ninja fall-breaking skills (where you shoot your leg out and try to break the fall of the phone by catching it with your foot)! For under $20, its a way better investment compared to an Otterbox Defender. ... show more
