Description

Infrared Dynamics' SunPak S34-B-TSR (Twin Stage Remote) (12023) Patio Heater. This natural gas patio heater has two settings: 34,000 BTU Hi. 25,000 BTU Low. It is made of black painted steel. It comes with a black-painted-steel mounting kit, a hand held and a wall remote control, and a plug-in power adapter. Modern Face Kit available separately: Search for "SunPak face trim kit". Clearances are the same as an S34, so if in a covered area a 10' or greater height ceiling (or trellis) is needed (unless ceiling is not flammable). The SunPak S34-TSR also may be mounted uncovered and fully exposed to the elements. It can be mounted to a wall or ceiling.

It seems like the unit I received was used. I did install it since it is a big heavy unit and difficult to return. For the size of the heater and the amount of money paid, there is not that much heat and I am using it in a mostly covered area where there is no wind. The area is about 10X12 and it still is not getting as warm as it should. I rarely write reviews but for the amount of money paid I was hoping to get a unit which produced much more heat.     • High quality, Great Performance
I love the fact that these units have two-level output at 25k BTU and 34k BTU. They are easy to assemble, simple to install, look great, and function fantastically. The included hand-held AND wall-mount remote controls (two separate controls so you can hang one on the wall and still have one at hand on the table next to you) make turning them on and off or changing the setting from high to low a snap. We mounted one heater above our hot tub so getting in and out of the water in the winter months is not so uncomfortable. We also hung a separate unit from the soffit in our outdoor living area so sitting on the patio in the evening hours after the sun drops is still comfortable as is outdoor entertaining during the chilly fall/winter months. All in all, couldn't ask for a better quality, rugged, easy-to-operate, high-performance heater -- all at a great price. Service from the seller has been great as well. I bought two of this products last year in July, because my backyard was under construction until March this year my contractor installed. Last week I turned on one of the heater for several hours .the grill metal part was distortion and the other one I only turned on 15 minute same problem with the other but not that serious because only heat up 15 min. I only used this heater one time after installed. Product use the grill metal is not qualified. I don't know how manufacturer can pass the test.I also worry it may cause fire if the metal dissolve. ... show more

    • Plenty of heat from this unit!!
After some mix ups in shipping from Amazon and UPS, the right product finally arrived. While it needed a replacement part, they jumped through hoops to get the heater working. Great product and superb caring customer service people.
