I recently got a camping hammock and a friend suggested I purchase one of there frames as it's so easy to set up and move, no trees necessary! She got it from Amazon so I jumped and found one at Amazon Warehouse- condition listed as "very good, all hardware included, repackaged in different box". To save some $$ I ordered it and we were waiting for it to arrive for a weekend camping trip- until the UPS delivery came, I was SHOCKED! Not only was it not repackaged as described but showed up in the original sunnydaze box with the buyer's address and info still on it but also had the return slip with all her info inside-wow! The box was destroyed, had been shoddily taped on ends with cheap, clear tape and the poles were hanging out both ends- to add insult to injury there was no hardware included- um, Amazon- "very good condition, repackaged" means ALL accessories are included unless indicated in description. I ordered from the warehouse before and never had a bad experience- I called customer service and explained the problems and was offered a $15 dollar refund, for a $98 item that can't be used?????? I can't return due to box destroyed and item# and either info missing due to damage to box. Needless to say we didn't go and I am so angry at how I was treated when the item was NOT as described and is missing all parts needed to assemble- I can fix the scratched paint easily enough but finding replacement parts is taking so much time and money- over $40 so far and still need to find more parts. Amazon customer service was no help at all and I will need to spend about $60 bucks for the paint and other parts to make it usable. The offer for a $15 refund is insulting and I told him to keep it, doesn't come close to amount needed to get this thing together. Lesson learned! And I question how the original buyer's info was still in the box, not very safe these days! I saved $30 but will spend a lot more to get it to usable condition. I purchase from Amazon a lot and love their service but this one was a total fail and I hesitate to ever order from the Warehouse again, they do NOT stand by their own policies! I really like this product! I’ve had it for a month and have used it quite heavily. I keep it outside under our porch, and can easily move it in the yard with the help of another person. Assembly is super easy and I have no complaints with its durability. It can move in a little when you get into it (like a natural give), but it feels sturdy and the product shows no signs of compromising. I originally tried an Amazon Basic one with a travel case, thinking the weight capacity is enough for me and another person, but it bent in on first use and I learned that a 550lb capacity is a minimum if you want to fit two people - even if you are decently under the max weight! I use an eno double nest and the product works well if you want to use the chains that come with the stand or if you want to use the eno straps. ... show more

This is the second hammock stand I had bought in two months. The first one was from another top brandbrand, and bent within three uses by my wife and I (combined weight of ~300lb). We purchased this brand for a few bucks more than the other top brand, and have had a great experience for over a year now. It takes minutes to put together, and can easily be brought to the beach or campsite if you’re willing to break it down and put it back together for a whopping five minutes. This stand is convenient for areas that you can’t guarentee you’ll find a good tree spot. You can set up two hammocks side by side, although it is not meant for that. I looked at a few metal hammock stands on Amazon, with the idea that I wanted to put this in my living room. This is the one I settled on. If you are also planning to put this hammock stand indoors, definitely measure the space first, it's a bit more than 10' long. I have not used it outdoors but imagine it would work just as easily in a backyard. First impressions: I opened the long, thin rectangular box it arrived in. The box was in perfect condition. I took out each part, also in perfect condition, and laid them out(see attached photo) on the floor before looking at the assembly instructions. The metal parts were all perfectly clean! That was a slight surprise, as many brand new metal furniture items have manufacturing residues/oils or dirt on them, so I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean the parts were(yes, even including the few bolts for assembly.) Wonderful! Assembling the stand did not require any tools, all parts were included. The instructions were just a visual diagram, but with such a simple design, that's really all that is needed. I'd say it took me about 20minutes to assemble this all by myself, and so it was a pretty straightforward process. I set it up only a few feet from where I was going to put it, and it seemed easy enough to put in place, considering its a metal hammock stand. The last thing I did was I took a pair of pliers just to tighten down the 4 bolts. Assembly: Done! I set this up with a nylon camping hammock, which hooks over the two S-hooks. I have not needed to use the included chains with this hammock, so I cant say anything about the quality or function of the chains. It takes literally 2 seconds to put the hammock on or to take it off the stand, so that's nice. The stand included 4 thick plastic feet, which seem like they will indeed hold up in the long run, and those feet are sturdy and they blend in well with the rest of the stand. It appears to be easy enough to move the stand around if needed, although I don't know if it can go through a standard doorway while fully assembled, maybe just the base bars could come off if you wanted to put it through a regular sized doorway. Removing the base bars does not require bolts or any unscrewing, they just pop off with the button(although they seem to be nice and sturdy while assembled.) Overall I am very pleased with this stand! I have only had it for one day, and I would totally recommend this to others and would buy it again myself if I needed another for another place. It's sturdy, makes no noise, it does not wobble, it was clean and simple to assemble, and all of the parts arrived neatly and in good shape. I don't have anymore to say about this stand, for $90, which is what I paid, and I am not being compensated for this review, I just really am pleased with this purchase. Using my hammock is very enjoyable. Edit: I’ve had this a couple weeks now, and at some point the stand started squeaking whenever the hammock is rocking! It’s really annoying. I’ll try putting some grease on the hooks as I think that’s where it’s coning from, and will see if that helps. Will update again once I do. Update 2: I took a paper towel and rubbed just a tiny bit of oil on the ‘S’ hooks that are on top of both ends of the stand. This stopped all the squeaking! It doesn’t make a peep, now. Hooray! Now I can quietly enjoy my hammock. It’s now been nearly a month since I got this stand, just as pleased with it as at the start! ... show more
