My wife was less than thrilled I spent “so much money” on kitchen shears but I was tired of buying cheap shears every year or so. This pair is exactly what I wanted in a pair of shears. The large handles are very comfortable to hold. The blades are very sharp and have an ever so slight serration to one edge for really cutting through stubborn things. The two pieces that make up the scissors come apart purposefully and make sharpening each blade a dream! As you have to extend the blades very far apart I have not had them come apart any time other than purposely trying to detach them. Worth every dollar spent. These are culinary grade scissors. Maybe not the good good; but be careful its very Sharpe. To be respected like any Sharpe knife. AAA easy to clean, comes apart and goes together very very easily. Black dipped in titanium. It can be broken down and used as two knifes I really don't use it for that but it could. They are dense sturdy and able to cut threw bone as easily as open a package so be careful with your digits the way your would a cutting knife. I like it I would buy it again. Looking forward to using it to cut large poultry, rotisserie chicken, turkey etc. Overall I use it to clean meat and cut veggies. ... show more
